How to cure allergy?

My 5.5 years old son is allergic to dust. He always sneezes many times when he had contact with home dust. I tried to avoid him from any home dust (such as carpets,curtain,etc) but he's so active that i can't always stop him from playing with those stuffs. A friend suggested me to try acupressure and I can see that he's better now. He's not snoring while sleeping anymore but still he's not completely cured. I wonder if there is any better way to cure this kind of allergy..
