How should we refer to the new decade?

we had the eighties, then the nineties, then an attempt to get us to refer to this decade as 'the noughties' but what on earth should we call the decade from 2010-2019

The logical name would be 'the teenies', since that refers to most of the years covered. I don't recall it ever being used of the equivalent years a century ago, though.

Actually, the new decade does not start untill new years day 2011. It's 2001 to 2011. Here's why, when a baby is born (in this case the modern calendar) one year must pass until the baby is one year old, so when the calender was started it started at 0 and then 12 months would pass and it was 1, so Jan 1st year 0 to Dec. 31st 010 completes a decade, Jan 1st 011 starts the new decade.
