Daphne, a seventeen-year-old girl from New York goes to England in search of her father, who does not know he had a child with an American girlfriend he met while working in Moracco,and whose aristocratic family did not approve of the women. Daphne discovers her father is in the middle of an election for some public office.She has to choose between becoming what he wants her to be and staying true to herself. And dad has to make a choice about what is really important for him. It is really a cute, clean movie that you can sit down and watch by heart. I was moved to tears for her fathers choice of love instead of social status, what about you? Do you like this movie or not, and why?
