would you think 1st day of the year is memorable?

Hi all friend,
We well come new year very gladly. We wish everybody to say "Happy New Year" and many other wises and blessing.But could not think why this day is very memorable.
I think every person could not happy in first day of new year.I know many things are caused behind it.But they hope this new year got a good luck for them. They solve their problem and spend a happy life.So they forgot every problems,condition,sad and well come new year and remember it.
What would you think?

I don't personally think it is a memorable day. I think 12-31 is the more rememorable day as it is used for a party day for most. Who can ever remember the day after a big party, since typically you are recovering from a hangover. I try to think ahead to the new year and think how I could make it better than the last, but, after 35 years of new years they typically all turn out pretty much the same. I think the 1st day of the new year is just another day.
