I prefer to write non fiction. I do write fiction, and poetry, but I find I can always come up with an opinion or a viewpoint, which is basically what writing non fiction is all about. Of course, you could say that fiction and poetry is also opinion and viewpoint, but you also need a theme and/ or a story to go with it. That doesn't come so easily to me. I wouldn't say I'd never write more fiction, but it's not my preferred medium.

I prefer non fiction, as I have no imagination for fiction.
I have written the storyt of our family history titled "From Crime to Destitution".
My daughter is fantastic at fiction. She has had some of her stories published in neopets.

I write nonfiction as a rule. I've written fiction, but never sold any of it, and since I like to eat, I need to sell what I write. I take that back... I did sell a poem one time. One out of... a lot. :) I'd get pretty hungry if I depended on that for an income!

Once upon a time I really enjoyed writing fiction, but it is hard to find an online market for that so over the years I have become more of a non-fiction writer. I enjoy writing articles on how to help people do certain things. It appears that, that is more of a talent for me. I have not had much time for writing anything fictional. Several years ago I was writing a book (fiction) I was on chapter 3 and had the whole story mapped out in my head. Then our computer crashed and I lost everything. I never had the heart to go back and re-write everything.

I perfer fiction to non fiction. I love making new characters, having them do things people don't expect, and entertaining others with my writing. I've won a few contests and had some stuff published, which is really cool for a fiction writer!
