Are Men Better Cooks Than Women?

dont know ahah i think that depends of the guy and of the girl^^ as long as they want to learn everyone can be a good chef. but i think that there are still more girls that know how to cook than men bcs some men are still thinking girls must cook anyway i wish that it be the same soon we all should know how to cook a bit so we can also make good surprises for our bf or gf^^

Well to be honest, my hub can cook ten times better than me. So the point i am trying to make, to keep my dignity intact is, women and men in todays life can actually cook equally in my eyes.Yes most men are chefs, but as we see less women chefs, they are there, we only have to go and look for them. But men really are great cooks, most of them are just to lazy to admit it.

As you've said, most people think that the kitchen is a woman's domain, wich makes one wonder why did man had to learn to cook? And how come no one finds that fact questionable. Well, the funny bit about this is, perhaps man disliked the food the woman cooks, and decided he can do better:). Also why bother go to restaurant if you get to eat food cooked by woman? That kind of food usually comes free, so you'd be crazy to wanna pay for it :). Of course there are different skills in cooking, and some stuff can't be called food, regardless who cooks it.

Hello nocturn98, first of all happy new year to you! I think there is no basis if the man are better cooks than the women. Even though most of the man chef's are always seen in Television still that is not a proof that they can cook better. I guess man have advantage when cooking because they can able to do more work, not just like woman. Well, that's only my opinion regarding this topic. Hope you get my point. Have a nice day. Depends on who the person is. Some men like to thin they are, but they probably speliize in rich overyly spicey food. The reason I don't let George cook is he does things to access and then I can't eat the food. Though I will admit he does have his good moments.

Hi. In my country your question is true. Of course at home it will be your mother or wife who is cooking for you and your family. But in the restaurant, the chef are always a man and their cook are well recognized and delicious. Every women were also agreed with it because they were also going out to the restaurant to eat. There were also women chef involve in the restaurant to cook but it is not as many as man. One of the reason is maybe that women cannot to though job at restaurant. Cooking at the restaurant is heavy because they maybe have to cook for the whole day and it is different at home. The most that women have to cook is about 6 times a day..:

I think that there can't be a particular answer for that question. It depends on a person and the skills that person has. But that's my opinion, I don't know much about cooking and cuisines.
