Have you ever been affected by bullies- maybe as a kid or with your kids? Fortunately, I never dealt with bullies in school, the worst I faced was "bossy" classmates; I never saw or heard of anyone getting beaten up or seriously pranked in any of the schools I went to. In movies, you always see the bullies being really mean, sometimes they even throw animal feces and discarded parts from the butcher at kids. I find that unbelievably harsh and disgusting. Does that kind of stuff actually happen in the real world, or is it just over-dramatic? I heard one story in the news about a high school girls varsity team hazing/bullying the jr. varsity team in such a way, but that has been the only time I've heard of it actually happening in real life.
