Im curious what everyone will say to this. You know when you are in your car or at home and you are listening to your CD and you hear a song and then....playback?? Everyone does it with some songs... what song do you hear and just play over and over right in a row?? I have a tendency to do this quite often actually because I am a music lover, and I personally do not think you can hear a song too many times. . . well ok maybe there are some you could get sick of but you know what I mean. SO what is it for you?

I do this quite a lot myself. Not just repeating the songs but also there are certain parts that I really like and just rewind to hear them again. For me, however, when I listen to music too much and if it is the same track over and over then the songs kind of gets ruined for me. It's like eating something you like all the time. What makes it good is hearing them from time to time like how you eat candy on occasions and not for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

I can agree to that to a certain extent. I do love playing some of my songs over and over again and I dont think I could ever get sick of them. But on the radio, I cannot stand when they play a new song too much..that ruins it for me!! It seems like they do that more and more often now. A new song comes out, and they play it all the time. It seems like everytime you turn the radio on that same song is playing :) I would rather choose what I hear over and over!

Yeah I know right. I have always thought that they would make a radio station that had to breaks. Just plays music 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I am suprised they have not done this yet, I am still waiting. I think that station would get more hits and be listened to more often than others. I personally do not care to listen to them cut a song off short, and start talking about what is happening in their lives, I really dont care to hear about it. I listen to the radio to hear music, not to listen to people talk :)

....yeah I guess that is true :) I just dont like hearing the people takl about their lives and then have listeners call in to give their opinions about what is happeneing in their lives. It irritates me. Thats why I have a very very large CD collection. Most of the time I dont listen to the radio, I just throw a cd in and listen to it.

Absolutely, I play back music quite often. I think there is a distinct pattern. First I find a song. I like the song. Then I play it into the ground. Eventually I may play the song less but I do this with new songs that I discover and enjoy. It drives some people up a wall but I enjoy it.

I absolutely ADORE musicals, and I just found the best one EVER! Actually, it's not a musical, it's a rock opera, but still. Repo! the Genetic Opera. Most of the songs on the soundtrack I will play OVER and OVER and OVER again because I LOVE it. =D Alexa Vega, Paris Hilton, and Sarah Brightman all in one movie, and they're all FABULOUS singers, so the soundtrack rocks. Joan Jett even makes a cameo in one of the songs.

I have never seen this movie. Nor have I listened to the soundtrack :) Im glad you can listen to it over and over ... you must love music. Music just lets you get away from everything. When I am listenign to music I dont usually think about anything else...no stress at work....relationship.....kids.......I can just sit back, relax, and listen to my music!! The best feeling in the world to me!!

you are absolutely right...I listen to alot of love songs back to back. doing the time of heartache and pain...let me be had broke up with my boyfriend Im going to listening to Keyshia Cole, Mariah Carey, Mary J, or Anthony Hamilton just to name a few..I mean I'll stop rewind and play again several times until i start to feel like im over it

Great music right there! I love Keyshia cole, Mariah Carey, and Mary J Blige!! You want to know something funny!?! When I think my man is actually stupid or we get into a little argument or something I always play Beyonce's "If I were a Boy" haha and Ill sing it all loud and stuff just so I know he can hear me!! It is sooo funny, normally it will maek him laugh and come say sorry if he is acting like an idiot. So thats good!!
