Leggings as pants?!?!?!

Wearing a pair of leggings as pants ... to do or not to do? Classy or TRASHY?? I couldnt help but notice that this summer this was everywhere!! Women wearing leggings as pants.... I personally dont think its a problem when the shirt is a long shirt that covers the butt completely. But when you see people who have them on with a short shirt...I dont know what people see in this?? I do have a pair of leggings that go down to about the middle of my calf muscle and I wear mine with my short dress that I have so it covers my butt completely. But i am curious to see what everyone else thinks about this style...

In my oppinion i think they look cute when you wear them with skirts or shorth dresses not that good with a short shirt..i think you right they should wear them the right way.!

yes, for sure! I really think the look is nice when wore correctly. I actually like a long sweater dress with them now that it is cold outside. I think this look is very cute aswell. The long tunic sweater with a pair of long leggings, preferably either black or grey, very nice looking.

I definitely think that it's a privilege, not a right. And I don't even think a girl who is in perfect physical shape, size 2, 5'7, etc, should wear them in public without a shirt long enough to cover their ... *ahem* tropical region.
Now they have leggings that are colored to look like jeans for the skinny jean look. I've considered buying some of them because my ankles are so much smaller than my calves that once I buy them to fit over my calf muscles skinny jeans don't always look just right on me 
But I love the look so maybe leggings is the way to go *shrug*

The thicker ones that are colored to look like jeans....I have seen these but I still think they need to have a longer shirt worn with them. These are a comfortable alternative to pants, but you need to have a longer shirt on with them. They are just way too tight to be worn without a longer shirt or dress on over them. Now if they were not super super skin tight and you got the dark thicker ones, maybe ... maybe they would look okay with a shorter shirt on that doesnt cover the booty all the way... But I still would stick with the longer shirts :) that is just my opinion.

I only wear leggings under a short skirt or a dress. I think it looks super trashy when girls wear them as pants. It's totally gross. Unless it's under a long shirt, of course. Then it's okay. But if the shirt doesn't cover at least HALF of your butt, it should NOT be worn with leggings as pants, you should wear REAL pants.

I know thats what I think...it is a super cute style when wore the proper way with the right type of top/dress. but yeah when I see a women or young teen wearing them as pants with a tee shirt on ....ew! They need to be told the right way to wear them :)

i do not wear legging if i wear short shirts!...heheheh!
it looks really weird!....
i love to see ladies wearing it..depends how they style in how they will wear it...
it looks very sexy and i feel it makes our legs thinner...
and to make us look thin!heheheh!...like long legged!..lol!
i want to wear comfortable but i make sure it doesn't look trashy or even yucky!heheheh!
i love fashion..im updated to that...heheheh!
but in my simplest way of carrying it..
