I love hearing children sing especially gospel songs like on my playlist. on my profile i have an 11 year old, Katie Ray singing Amazeing Grace, my all time favorite gospel song. i also have Walela, a cherokee group of ladies singing it. so you know its my favorite. Have you tried playlist.com? you can find nearly anything there to listen to. I just love this little girls singing. whats your favorite gospel? and if you dont care for that, your favorite song by children/or child singer?

Hiya bunnybon,
I love listening to the Westminster Abbey Boys Choir they are really beautiful.
Also love listening to Lauryn Hill singing that Song she sang at the end of Sister Act II made my Hair stand on end and gave me the goosebumps too.
Have yet to find an equal to Lauryn Hill in the power of voice and the soul she puts into it apart from Aretha Franklin.
Lauryn Hill had a really wonderful voice and still has but I find the backing on her Cds a bit difficult to chew I would rather she sang on her own but just the same she´s fantastic.
Okay I know there are loads and loads of other Kiddies that sing fantastically too but I don´t know them that´s all.

Hiya bunnybon,
Have tried to find your Profile song and your songlist I can´t get it to play either so never mind. I have looked up little Connie Talbot from Walsall no less right next door to me. I used to sing like that when I was small too more or less eh? Except that I can´t prove it either.
She´s a lovely lass and I think that if they don´t overdo it with her voice along the way if they take very special care of it as she is so very young she will make it to the very top and stay there for a long long time well done Connie gal. She has such a wonderful personality for someone so small. Walsall well blow me down.
Connie has my vote anytime.

There are a couple of really nice radio programs on a local station, one in Croatian, and one in Serbian (OK the languages are about as different as American English and British English haha pretty much the same language except for a few things). A lot of children sing folk songs on those snows, and they sing like pros. That's not to say they sound like adults, because they really don't, and that's OK. However, they were trained professionally, and they sound really awsome. I love hearing them sing.

I really do love listening to children sing. And, I especially love listening to my own two children singing. Both my husband and I were very involved in music when we were children and because of that both of our children have a natural inclination toward music as well. My daughter was four years old when she really started to get hooked on music and my son is following right along in her footsteps. They are constantly singing along to the radio in the car or they will just start singing for no reason at all.
As far as popular children singers, I'm not really familiar with any of them so I don't particularly have a favorite. And as far as gospel music goes the only music that I am familiar with is that which my friend and her sisters used to sing.

very cool. my kids also all grew up with a lot of music in the house. i about always had the radio on when doing housework, etc. so they all appreciate music and cant live without it.

My favorite song sung by a child is one I don't hear a lot, because it is a Christmas song. The girl who sang it, Gayla Peevey, is from my state (Oklahoma). Although I didn't know it until I looked it up. The first time I heard the song I just loved it. It was recorded back in 1953, and Gayla was 10 years old at the time. It's called I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas. Have you ever heard it? I think YouTube has it.

Listening to children sing is a real treat, bunnybon! Also, I am a great fan of Gospel music. I have been for as long as I can remember. When I was a child growing up in Tennessee we lived across the road from a Baptist church, and my aunt and I had an almost front-row seat whenever they held song nights.

I love gospel music, and I love hearing children singing, especially in my own language. I'm Cherokee, and we have a National Cherokee Children's Choir, and they are singing all Cherokee, some of my favorite hymns are on the CD, I'd say my fav. is Amazing Grace also. I've heard of Walela, is Rita Coolidge on there, she's on one of the Children's Choir cd's too, its a good one.

Hi, bunnybon! My phone's ringtone is Amazing Grace! I love hearing children singing especially when it's a gospel song. I have no particular favorite gospel song or child gospel singer but i like gospel music and i like it more when it's the little children singing. Connie Talbot is one of the child singers that i love listening to and i wish i can hear her sing in person!

I think it's touching hearing kids sing, because their voices are so angelic and innocent sounding. Me and my family always go and listen to this children's choir sing every Christmas, it's just part of our tradition. There is never a dry eye in the place at the ending of the performances, their voices are just so moving. I think a big reason people like to hear children sing is because it means there is some peace in the world at that time, the children are happy and safe.

Yeah I like children when they sing especially if they are in a choir. But aside I hate it if they become too noisy or too energetic, you know what i mean.

Yes, I adore children singing. one of my granddaughters loves to sing a lot and I enjoy it so much. Especially when she sings and at the same time dances with the music, however she does not sing any gospel songs. Most of the songs she loves to sing are the songs from high school musical.
