Two days back, I installed various odd-ons in my Firefox to know about them and then uninstalled them all after knowing their functionality. But after this, my system is showing "rtl100.bpl file is not found and the application could not be loaded ..Try to reinstall the application"...every time when I start the system. How to rectify this? I am sure that this is due to the add ons..But I am not sure about the exact odd ons responsible for that.As I have tired more 50 add ons, I am not able to recall the name of the add ons even...How do remove this error?

The quickest way to remove errors brought on by firefox is to remove and uninstall firefox. If it's firefox add-ons that are causing the problem, then removal of the program should resolve the issue. Simply fallow the above steps, but instead of spywhere doctor, go for firefox. You can redownload it later, but make sure your problem is resolved when and before reinstalling it.

hmrk12, Do you have Spyware Doctor software program in your PC? If you have then I think this rtl100.bpl file has been removed from it and now your antivirus software is not allowing this program to run its normal course and function. Just DISABLE your Spyware Doctor first and then, remove it using your Control Panel's "Add and Remove Programs". After that, reboot your computer and reinstall this software again. Update and reboot again. Should be able to resolve your problem. Take care.

At present I don't have spyware doctor installed in my system. But I had installed and removed it once a scan is completed nearly a week back..I am not sure, whether this error message is coming only after the removal of spyware doctor. But even after the uninstallation of this software, I am able to see this program in the add or remove program list. I am not able to remove this completely from the system. This might be the reason for the error..Let me try to remove the corresponding folders in the program files in the command prompt. I hope after the removal of this software, I will not get the error again. Thanks for your response to this discussion.,

hmrk12, Out of interest, just how did you go about removing Spyware Doctor previously? Did you first disable and exit the software program from the system tray before uninstalling from the Control Panel? From what you have described, I have a hunch you did not and on top of that you did not use the Control Panel's "Add and Remove Progams" to remove the software. As a result, you have unknowingly removed a vital shared system resource which is needed for the computer's basic operation. I hope that all is well now with your laptop now. Take care and have a nice day.
