My sister will have her little princess this March. She wants the baby's name start with "A" or "O". After reading 2 books of Baby names, she still can't decide. She said the name must be special and beautiful and smart and blah blah blah. Any suggestions?

When I was pregnant in 2006 we thought we might have a daughter. We would have called her Almeria which is quite a pretty name. However we had a son. Then I got pregnant again in 2008 and we decided if we had a daughter to name her Amber. So I now have a baby girl called Amber. One of my nieces is called Aleah. Abbey Alexandria Andrea I can't think of any girl's names starting with O. Good luck to your sister choosing.

For the A's how about Abigail (Abby for short), Alicia, Alana, Alexa, Alexandra, Amanda, or Andrea? For the O's how about Olivia or Opal? One thing I did when I was looking for names when I was pregnant with my kids was saying each name out loud (after making a list of the ones I liked, of course). It really helped, at least when it came to my first born anyway. LOL Best of luck to your sister. Happy mylotting!

Thanks! I got this name since I began to play world of warcraft [about 3-4 years ago] Oh god, pardon me, I am flattering myself again and forgot what I have to say. I would be easy if I was the one who pregnant. All hail for my sister!!

I never had to search one name for a small baby----you can find some good infact great names in Greece historians--there are many names which resembles a goddess or a good meaning or nature and morever their names are unique and they stand out of all the common names for sure.so search for the ancient names in Greek mythology i'm sure you would love those and your search ends there.good day.
