I worked at a different location of the company I work for a few weeks ago, and after meeting the manager who worked there, and she somehow started getting into how she went from a size 12 to a size 4 just from drinking water and cutting out pop. (Probably drinking 2 liters a day). It raised her metabolism, she said, and cut out her hunger. I found this amazingly simple. Forty pounds?! Size 12 (which I am) to a size 4? I couldn't imagine being a size 4. That would be awesome! Anyway, lol, have you heard any stories like this? Any miracle diet stories? Or anyone who has lost weight just from.. drinking water?

hello maezee, wow.. I want that!!! haha! I mean, size 4! I never heard about it until I stumbled on your discussion. I really want to lose some pounds. The funny thing is, my sister said that drinking too much water can make our stomach expand or get bigger which means, it makes us more hungry and crave for food. Ohh well, maybe I need to research about it first and try it out myself if it does work. But anyway it is a great news! Happy Lotting!

That is so true. There are many testimonials that prove water can really lost your fats provided that you do not drink cold water. My father's waist is big but when he started to drink lukewarm water the size of his waist gets smaller. Not only that, there are many benefits in drinking lots and lots of water. One of it is flushing out our toxins inside our body. It can also rehydrate our skin. So it is best to drink lots of water everyday.

Wow! Cool! I never imagine water can help in losing weight. But I think you could still get hungry because water is not digested. I'm curious, I think I'll try. hehe. I have tried several diets before, so far the morning banana diet was good. But now, I just slow down eating and exercise daily to maintain my weight. Happy mylotting!

Yeah, I've usually drink a lot of water just not losing weight but making a healthy habit. Drinking water provides many useful benefits in your body. It does clean your kidney and prevent you to have kidney stones. It also gives you a smooth skin.

HI, when I was in college... I wore size 9 then I decide to loose some weight. I did in 3 months from size 9 to size 0. Now, I wear size 0 or 00, and I stay this way for over 7 years now, plus I have two children and I still wear the same size

Hello maezee, I haven't heard of any miracle stories personally but I have read up on quite a few similar stories lately. I can not say for sure but I too am thinking about doing this. I recently quit smoking and have managed to add an additional 17 pounds on and I so need to get rid of them. I really need to lose about 50lbs to get to my goal weight for my age and height but I surely have to get those extra nonsmoker pounds off... I am looking for any easy way to lose pounds that I can. I am going to be 30 in three years and I want to be down to my goal weight by then because I know after then it won't be so easy. I am going to try it here soon..I like drinking gatorade which is high in calories so I am hoping to be able to switch that out with water which should make some what of a difference I would think. I am just hoping the I can get through the headaches that I always seem to get when I don't have any caffeine. You know I think I read that you drink coffee I am not sure how much but I do know that that keeps on the weight as well, my aunt cut out coffee and was able to lose 15 lbs in 3 months..I don't drink coffee never have so I know that isn't keeping my pounds on.

Well I have heard if you stop drinking soda you will lose weight. Drinking water only will clean you out and it will be alot more healthy for you. I also heard if you eat 6 smaller meals that will also raise your metabolism. Some people at a size 12 will not look healthy though at a size 4. Some people are big boned so you have to becareful as to what your ideal weight should be before you try to get to an unhealthy weight.

Hello maezee me too believe in water therapy, am used ot it mostly try it in summer and rainy seasons.Water therapy is good for our health, speically in our skin pro, its cleanses it completely with the helo of daily intake of water. But in case of weight lose, don't think cutting on diet is necessary, without cutting the diet and simply drinking lots of water can also reduce our weight.Well there are many stories like this, as there are many persons who believes in natural therapy, and prefers to have water as its main elements in it.Anyways Keep it up with your health knowledge, Happy mylotting.

Hi maezee, combine protein with water, and control those urges to eat for eating's sake. That is all there is to it. :) Oh by the way, dont sleep after lunch or dinner, and finish dinner by 7 pm. ;) No watching TV and eating. :) Who wants to slim down missing on all those luxuries. :)

Hi maezee REcently i learned that what makes someone gain weight is the sugar and not the fat. Taking away juices and cokes and other kind of beberage that contain sugar certainly helped her losing weight. Also water doesnt contain calories which is something really helpful for someone who wanna lose some weight. My brother knows about this stuff(he is kind of obssesed with this kind of things right now) and he also recommended that to a friend of him and he says she has lose a lot of weight by doing just that, just drinking water.

Good information you have there. I'm currently trying myself to lose weight but it is so difficult. I'm going to try drinking water to lose weight. From what i know that water is the best source of clean drinking with not much impurities compared to coloured drinks.

I haven't heard any miracle diet stories like that, but it does make sense to me. When you cut out all the sugary drinks and drink water before you reach for a snack, then you could eliminate a good percentage of the things that are making you gain weight. I've heard that we often mistake dehydration and thirst for hunger pangs and instead of drinking water like we need to, we eat. When we drink water instead of snacking, then we can satisfy that hunger and keep off the weight we would have gained if we had eaten something.

I actually have heard of this. A couple that I know very well both drink alot of pop. They made a pack with each other to cut out pop and replace it with water. They both lost quite a bit. I dont know exactly how much each of them lost but they say they lost almost 100 pounds together. I think this only works if you drink alot of pop though. if you are not a big pop drinker anyways then it wont be such a dramatic amount that you would lose by cutting it out. I tried this before for about two weeks and lost 4 pounds....haha that was it for me though. I love my pop too much and i could not give it up any longer. I have never been a water drinker. It has no taste and is just not quenching for me. If anyone sees me pour a glass of water they will see me instantly put a crystal light packet in it :) gives it some flavor...but hey its better than my pop. I do need to try and cut pop out a little though I mean I drink a crazy amount of pop everyday. I start with coffee and at about 11 in the mornign I switch to pop! I go with that all day until the next morning in which I then start with coffe again. I knwo its terrible but its become such a habit that its really way too hard for me to stop. I mean that time I cut it out i cut it out cold turkey and I felt like I had something missing everyday from my life. sad story huh hahaha. But I do have nice teeth because I keep those throw away bruishes in my purse.
