Have you lost something and later found it out at some unexpected place?

This always happens to me! I will misplace something and can't for the life of me remember where I put it. I have alzheimers already and I am only 19! Haha. This one time I couldn't find my T.V. remote anywhere and I looked and looked, only for my very amused brother to find it in the fridge later. It was really strange. Another funny one is when I misplace my sunglasses and look for them for hours only to find out they were on my head the whole time.

Dear nar8988... My other half has this habit of losing his things which he can't remember putting it...especially his spec!!..sometimes this make me mad since i will found his spec on the stairs..on the TV...such a nuisance..hehehehehe..

oh yes this has happend to me and also my husband many times. this one time my husband lost his wallet and we looked every where and we could not find it so we had to call the bands and get new cards and he had to get a new driver lince and things the after 3 weeks my sister in law was out rakeing leavs in her yard and found it.

yes, i find it in an unexpected place because i have so much on my mind, or am doing so much at once that i put something in a place where i am surprised to find it. i try to go back over my steps prior to losing what i lost, but that dosen't always work

You are not alone Nar... I have notice that too...that is why sometimes if i forgot something. I just stop looking for it. Because I knew I might be looking in the wrong places. And after many hours I will find the missing object with out so much fuss. But it can make you crazy sometimes.

I lost my wallet 1 time with my cridit cards on it 2 days before cristamas =[ dam so i couldnt buy any present.. lmao ... so the 25 at 2am i went to my car to look for some bears and i found it in the trunk lol .....

yes and i was very happy to find what i did. as a matter of fact i was thrilled.

Just recently I lost my ring, then last night I discovered it in our woodpile. I am thrilled as I'd given up hope of seeing it again.

Yes L.O.L I thought I had lost my rent check and got mad at the manager and went to the bank and had them stop payment on the check. And about a week later I was at work and found it in my purse. I didn't tell the manager though I would have felt embarrased about it. I hate when things like that happen!

Hi Nar, I get this happening to me a lot as well. the best one, well the most recent anyway, was actually a jigsaw piece which i spent ages trying to track down, only to find when I randomly trod on it while turning on the radio. That made me smile because it became the first piece I added to the jigsaw after the New Year began so I took it as a great omen since I had been working on that jigsaw for days! Other than that I normally lose things because I put them in 'safe' places and can never find them afterwards, it annoys me to no end especially since everything is meant to have a set location so by all rights I shouldn't lose anything lol! Yes and in a quite embarrassing way as well. I lost a book that I was actually reading. It was not actually in my hands, so perhaps it could have been worst. But it was two feet in front of me. I think I got easily distracted by something and forgot that I was actually reading the book. At least I hope I did. So that was unexpected. Also, the item that was underneath something absurd like a towel or a piece of paper is another unexpected place.

The situation you described usually happened to me. I was looking for my handkerchief only to find out that I was holding it with the other hand.

It always happen to me that I'm looking for a thing then i will found it in a unexpected place. One time i'm looking for my cellphone i thought i left in my room then in a minute i will notice that i didn't left it there, i just left in my mother's room. Oh what a crazy thing. We always like that , we always forgot we're we left our pen, cellphones and others.

I only wear glasses to see the computer, drive, or in a classroom. My eyes actually get better when I do not wear them. That means that my glasses sit on top of my head, like a hat. Sometimes I start searching around my house like a crazy person to find them, only to realize when I look in the mirror they are on my head.

It is so funny. It's happened to me many times. Just last month I was looking for a glass rabbit that my family gave me as a child. I looked everywhere but couldn't find it and finally gave up on looking for it. A few days later I found it on my mess of a desk inside a paper box. Thank god it surfaced.

Yup, I had this experience that my aunt lost my scientific calculator and it was placed in her bed before losing it. I found in inside her cabinet after a few days.

Yah, It happens to me all the time. I always forget where I put things and later after I would be able to find it near me. It seems that I have a problem with my memory.

This keeps happening to me more than I'd like to admit. I would try to find something and I would look all over the house and never find whatever it is that I am looking for. AT one time I was looking for my remote control, I looked for it everywhere: under the bed, inside the freezer, inside the garage..everywhere, but when I finally gave up searching, I found it under one of my pillows.

Yay! I just wrote something similar to this, this is why I saw it and replying to it now. LoL! Yes I lost something and bought a new one. Then the next morning I found it. So I got two of them now.
