I got this problem of fallen into asleep half way through the show for the last 10 movies i watched lately. Although some of the movies were the ones I really look forward to watch, I just can't avoid my eyes from asleep which normally happen about 1 hour after it started. Even fast moving, loud, action movie such as Transformers, 2012, Avatar unable to keep me awake until my family make a joke on it..hehe. They got irritated about that sometimes because they can't share the jokes, storyline, remarks in the movies with me. Should I follow them to the cinema in the next movie show? Anyone share the same problem now?

I never experienced to fall asleep while watching movies but my husband does it every time he watch movie or television show. I think he is more sleepy than you because in just 30 minutes he already fall to sleep. I feel annoyed because of that because there are times that I was telling my reaction or opinion about the movie and when I look at him he is already sleeping and I cannot enjoy the movie without someone that I can share my reaction about the movie.

Hi, rj4pau. I am like this 100%. If I am watching a movie in the day or nighttime, I will go to sleep. Once I lay down just to watch the movie or show that is when I will end up going to sleep. I can't lay down with the lights on or off, I will then go to sleep then.

It is because you are working and toiling yourself too much. Try to get some rest. Sleep as much you can and then go for the movie, or watch it at home.
Am a movie maniac, and for me, while watching a movie, I dont even drink water, I use to pause the video when somebody talks to me.
The dialogue is an essential part of the movie, which I enjoy the most. So if you are asleep, it is better to go back home and sleep in bed, and not in a theatre.
