Watch your AT&T bill for hidden fees!

This is the 7th time I have had to call AT&T to dispute an unfamiliar charge on not only my cell bill, but my home phone as well. The charges have been $14.95 and $9.95. When I called them they tell you to call the company that charged you, and take it up with them. I told them the first time that I would, but when it happened again, I told them to put a block so that it wouldn't happen again. Low and behold, it happened 5 more times thus far. This time I was mad! I asked why does this keep happening even though I added a block on my phone. They told me to call the other company and I refused. I told them I wanted them to take that off of my bill immediately! They would take the charge off but the charges keeps happening. Well, an inside source that works for AT&T said they will tell you anything to get you off the phone and then it's as if you never made a call. She said the key is to make sure you stay on them. Please make sure you watch your bills from any carrier...you will be ripped off and the companies make millions of dollars if you don't catch it as a consumer.

I'm well aware of the fees that come with having AT&T. That's why I got rid of my land line and changed my provider from them to T-mobile. With T-mobile there is never any second-guessing you get what you pay for. If there are any fees they let you know, and its plain and simple. I got sick of my AT&T bill continously going up, and up. I've just about had it with them and now when we pass by there store I give them the middle finger. Now, I know what my bill is every month. I know what to expect, and I actually get what I pay for. As for people saying anything to get you off the phone when you call custmer care. I know how that goes. I worke the phones at pizza hut for almost six years. Same principle applies. We tell the custmers what they want to hear, even though we know they are lying.

I am not with AT&T, but I am with Verizon, and I pay the same amount every month. As I charged the basic monthly fee, and taxes and taht is it. I have never seen any hidden fees with Verizon, as I have been with them over a year, and I have never had any problems with my bill being more than what it should be. I was with T-mobbile before Verizon, and I didn't like the fact that I couldn't get service some places. I would be inside a building and my call would get dropped, and that got old, so I decidd to change to Verizon, and have had no problems like that at all. I guess there is something to be said for all carrriers whether good or bad. Take care, and happy mylotting.
