I Have A Question About Online Advertising

I would like to know if anyone can direct me to a safe place (not too costly) - to do some advertising for me on the web. I have no knowledge of how or what all it entails, but if you know and can direct me, I'd sure appreciate it. Thanks in advance C. C.
