A new dog came to visit, his name is Charlie and he is a shiatsu and maltese mix, so cute and so soft. This little dog is the type that can make dog lovers out of almost anyone. But he has very bad house manners and needs a lot of work. I can't do it but I hope someone will soon. What a little beauty he is.

The deal was to take one rooster and all the hens, well then some know it all spoke up and said you might be able to sell the roosters on E-bay so now there are 6 roosters in with the hens. I am staying as far from the situation as possible, Hubby and my Daughter are in charge of this project, but if history holds out, sometime in the near future they will somehow, by some weird magic become my chickens. I have been down this road to often not to know where it leads. Yes this is a pity party.

Aww, and I do feel for you! Make sure you don't cave in when your hubby and daughter ask for help...lol. Um, roosters on Ebay? Hm, I think I'd go local and try Craigs list. I have no idea how I'd ship a live rooster, or even a butchered one!

could you write an update about charlie? Have he learned to behave himself? I have only good behaving dog clients, at least for now, but you never know what's around the corner. Good luck to you and Charlie! x

Charlie was only here for a short visit and as far as I know he is still my Granddaughter and her husband's only dog. I will keep my ear turned in that direction and if there are any new developments will let you know, via a new mylot discussion. Thanks

He doesn't need a new home just more time from his parents to teach him some manners. With any luck he'll rule the roost. Thanks

Is he part of the household you are sheltering? Most dogs badly want to please those that they love and just need a little encouragement and guidance. I hope Charlie is soon on the road to good manners!

No this little guy came with my Grandaughters to visit. That is a major part of his problem, he is left alone in an apartment during the time that his people are working. But he really is a cutie and a royal pain.

Really? You have a new dog? How lovely! If it is a doggie that is not used to being with people all the time, he will require some strict training, I would imagine. Shiatsu and maltese mix sounds goergoeus! Is he going back to his original home after his time with you? I hope your little visitor learns his manners so he won’t be so troublesome if and when he returns home! You should post a picture...

He was only here for a couple of days and came with his owner attached. Maybe we can get some traing in if he comes back to stay a week or two with out his Mom. I know that she would appreciate anything we could do. Thanks for the response.

I bet he is an attractive little thing. Hope someone can teach him good manners soon so you can enjoy him to the full. Perhaps your own dogs will help out.

He was just here for a short visit this time, wait until his Mom and Dad go on vacation then he may stay longer. We'll just have to wait and see.
