How long does it take you to complete a project?

Once I get started it doesn't take me long. It takes longer to get my husband to start doing it. He gets almost to the end and then I end up finishing it up. I guess we make a good team but it is so hard to get him to motivated. I have 2 small projects to do and then going to tackle our livingroom. (stripping wallpaper/fixing seaming tape/painting)

We live in an apartment, so we don't have any house tasks to complete. however, I have projects for myself that I cant ever seem to finish. I have sewing projects that are half done, beading projects, I have a doll-house that I've been trying to build for about 10 years. It's crazy. Also, I have scrap booking. These are all my hobbies, and a person should be able to set time aside for hobbies, but I never seem to be able to. I guess when my son is older, maybe I'll be able to have a little time extra for myself to do these things. Maybe when he is older he'll be interested in helping me! We'll see!

I think of how it would be easier if we did rent and then the landlord would have to bother with them but some of them have to do with changing wall colors and things that landlords really dont want you to do. They seem to like plain white and possibly a cream color. Our carpet is in horrible shape but we are trying to wait a couple more years when the kids are a little older and get new carpet then. Right now I jsut want new lights put up in the kids bedrooms and we have had them sitting in the box for a year now. I get tired of moving lamps or turning the hall and bathroom lights on to see in them.
