I lost the baby at 5 weeks, had one of my tubes removed, and everytime I see someone with a baby I get emotional. The baby would have been my first so I guess that's why it hurt so much and I never went to counseling for it I just didn't know how to deal with it ya know.

I am very sorry that you suffered an eptopic pregnancy. When that happens there is no way that baby can be saved. It must have been really upsetting when you had one or your tubes removed. Maybe you wish to have a baby. In that case adoption might be possible. One of my friends is a foster carer and she looks after some children before they get adopted. She had two little girls and then she had a baby girl. I suggest you might like to have some counseling. Then you would be able to discuss your thoughts and express your feelings. A miscarriage is really sad at any stage of pregnancy.

I've never had an etopic pregnancy but I did have PPD from my c-section. I imagine in a way you may have a form PPD (post partom depression) as you lost a baby even though only 5 weeks along the trama from the surgery and the loss is hard to let go of. I would speak to your obgyn about your concern about the feelings you have. As no one is telling you to forget what you went thru but you need to move tward accepting what happened wich is easier said than done. ((hugs))
