I spent the day taking the tree and all Christmas related decorations down. Then I tried to get some of the laundry caught up and I continuosly kept the food coming to my son and his buddies that were camped out watching the Rose bowl or the gator bowl..it was a football game anyway. I also spent the morning watching the rose parade with my grandson.

We both slept very late on New Year's Day because we had been out partying the night before. In the afternoon I took a taxi up the street to my favourite coffee shop. I usually take the bus, but no buses were running on New Year's Day, so I had to take a taxi instead.

our exams are scheduled in such a way that we miss both Christmas and new year as long as we study this course. BTW there is not much chance of celebration after the exams are over coz by then every body would have got busy again. Any ways... wish you too a very happy and prosperous New year.

Attended mass in the morning. Prepare food left during the Media Noche. Cooked some food again to welcome relatives who are coming. Had picture taking and had some fun eating and exchanging gifts to those who were not present on Christmas Day.

This year is my 1st year didn't cook anything for new year. Since from Christmas and now new year, my hubby wants a change, so we decided to went out to go for the nearest restaurant to celebrate our new year with different way. Usually every year, we will buy a lot of food and decided to cook and eat at home. by the way, i do like the change since i don't have to spend time thinking on how to prepare a nice and delicious new year meal. Besides that, i don't feel tired like the other year, when i had to cook new year meal myself. Happy new year....
