At first it was nothing but a little scratchy but now it full-on hurts. What is the best advice you can give about my definitely sore throat?

Prepare a lukewarm water then add rock salt ready for gargle. Do it 3x a day. But if it was not relieved, then buy an anti-bacterial solution which will be used as your gargle substitute.
Avoid foods that are more in fibers and sweets. This will cause redness and itchiness on your throat.

Try not to talk to much and make sure to drink fluids. It could be a sign of an illness or it could be nothing. Some say garggeling helps, but I don't know. There are some throat sprays you can use. If the problem persists for more then a few days, or you can't eat due to the pain, see your doctor to give you something to reduce the inflmation.
One over-the-counter product you can try is one or two IBprofine to reduce swelling if it may be there.

Definitely,to see a doctor is the best way if you like. But if you unlike, I advise you drink more water and take some Vitamin C.I hope that my advice can help you. Wish you to get well soon.

In our house we put together in a glass 1/4 cup of honey and a 1/4 cup of vinegar. Mix it real good and take a tablespoon three times a day. I also have used 1 teaspoon each of Honey and lemon juice in a shot glass and shallow. Good luck and I hope you feel better soon.
