Well, we all dive into paid to... world as soon as we switch our computers on, but you all must have a favourite sites that don't bring you any pprofit at all.
For example, I like hanging out in facebook and I regularly visit one site for online reading manga and these are about the two sites that I visit for fun. Not for money or for work, but for fun
How about you? Do you find things connected to your interest on the internet or you are mostly emboided in making extra money?

Just like you, I have several sites I visit more often than profit-making sites.
Firstly, there is the social networking site, like facebook. I spend hours playing some online application there, such as Country Story, Mafia Wars etc, which could easily eat up more than 2 hours a day.
Secondly, we have to remember our mails - like mine, gmail. I spend an hour or so just to read my emails and to reply to some friends.
Thirdly, there are sites for news and updates, such as CNN and the local thestar online newspaper. There is a need to know the latest news for me to be able to go through day. This includes as well news I can find from sites such as IMDB and blogs.
Fourthly, I spend some time to write personal blog.
I spend more time on my interests, which is not money-making, when I am online.

I visit IMDB very often, but I don't spend a lot of time there, because I find what i need pretty fast there. Sometimes I do read CNN or BBC news, but I mostly read eal, paper newspapers hen I am not in front of the PC and that is the reason I don't usually read it form internet newsletters

Before I found myLot, I spent a lot of time on some really specialist forums. I'm a retro sci-fi geek, so used to spend ages on the Blakes 7 site ...I'm also a ffan of Jasper Fforde's books, so used to go to that fforum too.
Then I realised I could talk about the same subjects here and get paid for it ...
Well, maybe not Blakes 7!

Facebook has may good sides :) For example, when I searched for one of my friends from school, who lives far away and we rarely hear each other, I saw the she is Engaged :). Facebook gives me the confidence that I am at least slightly informed about the people I care about, but I can't connect with otherwise.
As for the games.. I play only Mafiawars

Whenever I have extra time, I spend my time in facebook, keeping in touch with friends who are now living in other countries and also finding long lost friends.

I like orkut and YouTube. Orkut is good for communicating with my friends, especially with ones that live far away. Plus you can use different applications there, like games or some other entertaining apps. And YouTube...I think you know that this site is all about entertainment.

YouTube would definitely be high on the list. After the day is done, and I unwind, I always go onto YouTube. I can be entertained on that website. Also Wikipedia is up there as well as websites that are non-profit that I spend a lot of my free time.

Apart from e-mail, news sites and the website of different riding clubs, I spend quite a lot of time in theonering.net discussing Tolkien, Lord of the Rings and Peter Jackson. We discuss lots of other things too, and I've made some really good friends that I keep in touch with on facebook and meet up with as often as time and money allows.
