Where Do You Spend Your Money Most?

It's really hard to work for your salary every month and then notice it gone in an instant. Just like being snatched from you hands. Some people are lucky enough to still have some extra left after all the bills have been paid. Most of my salary is spent on house rent. Where does yours go?

Most of the money that I make goes to paying bills and such. I don't usually have much, if anything, left over, which isn't always pleasant. It certainly doesn't make things easy either. But that's what happens. It's what needs to be done.

I get the pocket money from my parents so i dont feel that bad when i spend on something but soon i will join my job. My money goes mainly to the college fees and the room rent. Every month i save some money to buy myself some good useful thing.

yup I agree with you, I can relate with you, I can't feel my income if I have a lot of bills to pay, that's where I spent most of my salary to the phone, electric, rent and to the payment every month for my investment. I just hope and pray that this year is a year for breakthrough! But despite of all the bills I'm learning to be contented with what I have and continue to persevere and work harder.

I think most of the monthly salary goes to paying the bills like, credit card, internet and telephone, water and even electric bills. Besides that, of course monthly groceries, including some miscellaneous expenses like had to fix any of household things that suddenly goes into problem. So, after paying and deducting here and there, more than half of my hubby salary had already gone each month. Right now, only the money i earned online can be saved, so i try to managed it wisely. Hopefully, by middle of this year, i can have a good vacation with these money.

I usually spend most of my salary in household expenses. But there's one thing that I've learned how to at least still have something to save. The savings must be part of the budget and not just whatever will remain after sorting your money. It must be at least 5% - 10% of your salary and good if you can save more than this.

one good thing about living with my in-laws is that, we dont need to pay for rent coz the property is theirs. when it comes to monthly billings, my sis-in-law in USA shoulders everything thus most of the money from my freelance earnings is spent wisely for my kids' daily needs. happy mylotting nocturn98

Basically I pay about three large bills and end up with about three hundred dollars to spend. I live mostly on borrowed money or cash my family gives me. Sometimes the office has extra work they pay me to do but my salary is practically less than basic for the cost of living in Trinidad and this is true for thousands of people in this island. No one complains out loud because that can mean your job and the civil rights of people in Trinidad and Tobago are largely ignored.

More than half of my salary goes to paying existing installment - housing loan, credit card bills and insurance. And of course, there is the allowance for my mother, to help her to cover her monthly expenses. This leaves me nothing much to spend on. I think once in a while I do indulge in buying electronic items and books, as in novels. I am not one who indulges in buying branded clothes, so thank goodness for that. The point here is, and I have to take from the quote from Shopaholic - either I earn more, or I cut down on spending. I am choosing the second one.

well, most of my hard earned money goes to my house rent and my parents. Then part of it goes to my food and beverages + my bills. I hardly have any extra money for my savings, not to mention the extra money to buy any health insurance. Although I also know that Health Insurance is very important. I really hope that I could have some extra money left after paying the rent + bills and after giving my parents pocket money.

Last year, most of my salary was spent on clothes, cosmetics, books, and travelling. I had left a little money. Maybe this year, I won't spend much on clothes, cosmetics.

I spend most of my money on my credit card bill which has really gotten out of hand .It takes about 1/6 th of my salary and taht is the equivalent of 100 us dollars .When I have finished paying that bill my next expensive bill will be furniture hire purchase bil which takes about the same 1/6th of my salary

I spend all my money on Amazon. I mostly buy books that I never read but will get to them eventually. If I don't buy them now then I won't remember to buy them later. However, if you're not talking about luxuries then I spend most of my money on food and gas. I wish that I didn't have to eat because then I would be rich.

Hey nocturn98! Well the extra money that I make online is mine to keep because I just barely pay off the mortgage and all of the bills. So the money I make online and the money that I am going to make from mylot is going to be used to save up in the bank. However, sometimes I have some trouble paying my bills and I require some money out of my online earnings. I sometimes happen to take ten dollars and sometimes I take out twenty dollars, but they most I have ever had to take out is forty-five dollars out of my online earnings. That isn't a lot because I make one hundred to two hundred dollars per month from online sites. I also make most of my money from referrals, but that is a different site and a different story. I also sometimes spend my online earnings on something new for myself, such as a new I pod or a new couch or a meal for the hard work I have done for the day. But overall, my earnings online are spent to pay off my bills and things like that like mortgage, and then my extra money is saved or spent on my necessities. I hope this answers your question. Have a great day and have loads of fun mylotting and earning money! Punjab911
