there has been many glorious moments in the Indian cricket but if i'll have to select one, it will undoubtedly be the victory in the 1983 World Cup final. India were the underdogs going into the match but the pulled the victory over the great West Indies team and made every Indian proud.

I completely agree with you abhi.. If we have to select only one, then its should be the 1983 wroldcup win. And the opposition was oh... the great windies team... What one can say about that...!!!

without any question winning the world cup of 1983 is the best moment of indian cricket.....also india winning the t20 world cup is also a great moment....but team india must carry on and try their level best to bring the world up again to the subcontinent.....india gaining the no. 1 spot in test rankings is also a great moment....

most glorious moment would be the first team to win t20 world cup without the help of sachin,ganguly or dravid or you can say winning the tri-series in autraila.
