How dollar click really work? I am confused

I just joined dollar click on New year's eve night, because I was recommended by a mylot member here. Lately, I am pretty much enjoy doing the paid - to -clicks thing, and I don't have to wait to see whether I got credit or not like cash offers after at least a couple of hours later or a few days later. So, in Dollar Click, you can click tons of ads per day, and each ad claim to pay around 50 cents or more. While on its FAQ, it says that the site would only share a portion of what they earned from those ads. I just confused, how much they actually share with us for each ad. There is cash conversion calculator, but when I plugged in the number, it simply said I don't have enough earning yet. So, has anyone joined this website actually know how much you get paid, and the minimum payout is $500, equal to what actually what we can earn?
