Used or New?

I like to shop at hand me down stores. Not so much for shoes, bras, and underwear, but for anything else I enjoy it. I just go home and make sure I wash anything before I use it. I just find it better to spend $5 on a t-shirt than $30. I can get American Eagle and other top brands for just a few bucks.
What is your take on shopping? Do you ever shop at hand me down stores? Or does everything you buy absolutely must be brand new?

It depends really, if theres something old i like, i'll buy it, if theres something new i like, i'll buy it. Thats the way i work to be completely honest. I buy stuff off ebay, amazon, etc, but then i also buy new waterstones books and much more! It depends on the item.
But as you said...
Underwear and shoes is a no go area for me too. Merely because those are more personal / private items.

So you don't have any preference, except for taste. That isn't bad. I don't like to buy new a lot unless I can help it. I am kind of a penny pincher and I rather buy something at a cheaper price if I can, rather than buy something valued at a lot more.

I am a fan of secondhand shopping.most of my clothes are from secondhand shops.I actually have designer items that I found in a secondhand shop.I got a Marc Jacobs skirt and trench in a secondhand shop.I also got a D&G dress.I also got Mango,BCBG,and Zara dresses.I never thought I will have designer items at dirt cheap prices.

well i usually never buy robes, dresses or shoes wen it is a used one, but apart from that if it is an electronic gdget, i ll stand first coz, i cannot spend so much money for a single music player or a cmputer, instead u could buy an used one, thay r a bit risky, but always have them checked twicw or thrice, before u buy them

I like buying stuff new more but I still like looking through used clothes and sometimes I will buy something if I find something I really like.

I buy clothes at second hand stores. I also donate old clothing to Good Will. I also wash clothes before I wear them. I never buy shoes, bras or underwear from second hand stores because one time my friend brought a bra and the strap broke.
