Hi,
Everyone wants to be successful in life. Discuss on what success in life means to you be it be success in career or relationship. Also discuss whether fame and wealth can be achieved by everyone or only certain people who are lucky enough. Hope we can share our opinion on the true meaning of success.

To be successful in one's career he or she must have a satisfying job. I am a primary school teacher. I had to go to university and get qualified teacher status. I like writing and one day I might be able to get one of my books published. I have been really successful in the traveling that I have done. I have visited fifty different countries in the world. I wanted to have my own children. I have been successful with that. I have two sons and one daughter. In life a person needs happiness, good luck and to be healthy. I think that a certain kind of personality is needed to be an actor or a news reader on television. I know that wealth can be achieved by clever, lucky and well educated people. The situation a baby is born into will have some influence in his or hers future. Some working class children do well in their education and go on to an excellent career that makes them wealthy. They might marry a middle class person. I watched a program about middle class people that in the recession had become jobless. Life is a journey and parts of it are smooth but other bits of it might be rough.

Being successful in life is very different then being rich or famous.
Of course, you can be successful and rich and famous.
I think the only true way to think of yourself as successful is being happy.
If you are happy with your current state, and aren't a bad role model, you are a success.
What about if you're rich and famous?
Well it sort of depends, if you sold 7 albums and have 10million+ fans you could be successful.
But if you're a total loser that has tons of cash and does nothing with it how could you be successful?

You are considered successful if you are able to attain your goal and that you are satisfied and happy with what you are doing. You see, people are different. Not all of us want fame nor wealth like in the case of a true preacher of the words of God. They do not crave for wealth on earth but just to spread the words of God and make them follow the teachings in the Bible. I also believe that it is the destiny of few people who got fame and wealth at the same without even exerting effort. Some people get rich through inheritance, while some people really work hard for it. There are also some people who work hard for fame and wealth but fails and end up disappointed. In my case, I am just a simple person and live a simple life, happily married with two children who are now both professionals and I consider myself successful. Therefore, success is simply achieving your goal satisfactorily.
