There's been a lot of lonely people nowadays.Aren't we just lucky to have reached an age where computers have become a common fixture in our homes. Have u ever been in that moment, where u just get tired of what to think? For u know that whatever that comes first on your mind will just make u blue? So you go to your garden and try to be nature friendly and see the beauty of the greens and the blooms. But it's not working anymore! You go back inside and make another cup of coffee. You give up! You open your computer and see who's online.U set available..and presto..u got a message coming up in your window. Then before u know it, it's bedtime haha. And finally u realized, your computer is one buddy u can rely on when u get the blues. Aren't we just lucky?

lol, thats way to look at it on the other hand and may make people less social in person and more reclusive but its not bad as long as things work for you peronally.

I rather like the distance the screen creates between me and others; it takes away some of my natural fears. I do not know if computing helps me get over the blues but it does keep me in touch with the outside world. Not getting out much can bring me down at times but I love knowing that I can turn on and connect to almost anyone with relative ease. Computers are noting short of amazing.

Yes i agree that we tend to be more open with the opaque screen protecting us. Well if i get a little bit blue, i open my Tagged or Facebook or Myspace , and interact with my friends..and lo i forget about being blue :) Thank you for commenting. Hope ur having a great time. Blessings...

You could not have said it better. Not just for people who are alone but even those with a house full of them they will want to be left alone just they and the computer. Computer, specially the Internet is a package full of goodies which one cannot find in the real world. There is variety out there a source that will kill ones boredom.

I think that we are lucky in some ways, and others not. Technology nowadays has become a crutch for modern society. We use it every single day. But, imagine if one day, everything just stopped working. The world would go into a massive panic and everything would fall apart very very fast. Simply because there are actually people out there that cannot function without technology, because they know no other way...

hi friend, really we are happy to be in these days, now a days we cannot say that we are strong and we have a long life,we don't know our destiny and what the destiny makes us and we have to realize that we are lucky up to we are alive.

Computer, internet, myLot like sites has surly make us e-social, but it is not the way to live the life. It should be natural, in the hugs with nature, live - breath free and fresh. Can give exercises to our entire body rather than mind only. If we can see there are n number of benefits of becoming 'e' but at the other hand it have similar number of adverse effects also. Just same as you yourself has written, that our life style has overcome or will shortly over come the life style of our previous generation. So in the same manner our life style will also become out dated in our next generation. This is called life cycle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
