How Many Times Do You Wear Your Jeans Before You Throw It In The Washer?

Hi there nocturn98! I thought I was the only one who wore my jeans 2 to 3 times before it is washed. Well, I feel better now. I usually wear my jeans three times at the most before it goes into the washing machine. But that of course depends on my activities. If I know that my jeans are already dirty because of the activities I have had for the day, I immediately have my jeans washed.

I wear a pair of jeans for 4 or 5 times between two washes. It's cold now and I don't walk out too much, so my clothes don't get dirty too fast. However, when it's hot, I change them regularly, in particular, for the jeans, I wear them rarely in summer whereas I have many better choices (kaki, denim,...), but if it's the case, I wear jeans at most 2 times for each use.

Jeans are quite sturdy and strong and I don't think it's neccessary to wash them too frequently. I wear my jeans for a week perhaps more and then I throw them in the wash. I've noticed that about jeans! They do become a lot tougher once they have been washed and they seem to be very stiff! Still, they regain their softness after several days of wearing them. Andrew

Washing jeans is really troublesome so I wash it after wearing 4 to 5 times, often I wear jeans but when it comes to the point of washing I show laziness...Even I feel that jeans after getting washed loses the softness and gets tighter so I prefer to wash them less!

I agree with you on this...unless of course it is real hot outside or I have been doing something where I got real dirty, such as working in the yard....I wash mine usually after about the 2-3 time of wearing them. As a matter of fact, I call my best jeans "2nd day jeans" cause they are not comfortable til the second day.

Gosh nocturne, do you mean to say that jeans are actually washable, I really had no idea, I heard so long ago that if one washes ones jeans they will shrink so I've never washed mine, I just wear and throw.

It depends on the season. If it's in Summer, i will wash it even i only weared it once because i sweat in summer. If it's in winter, i will wash it 2-3 times after i weared it. I agreed with you, the more you wash your jeans, the softer it will become. I like it when its softer.

I actually do the same with my jeans because I like it better when its used up already instead of when it is newly washed. It becomes more softer and the shape of it becomes more fit to your body thus a better fit. So usually i'll only rinse it when I smell it and it gives you a hint that it aint smelling great already then there, that will be the time I will wash it.

Yeah, I agree. Sometimes I wear my jeans more than 3 times before I wash it. I really depends on where I used them. =) If I know I had worn them for just a couple of hours, I still wear them up to 5 times I think..haha. It feels more comfortable when it is used already and I don't want the color to fade easily.

I only have 3 good pairs of jeans, so I usually wear a pair max 4 times before wearing another pair and then washing it with the rest of the clothes. Hopefully after college I can afford to buy khaki pants for a job that i can get.

I usually wear jeans twice before washing it, but it depends, If i wore it whole day then probably i wont wear it again, if i just wear it to go get some groceries,supermarket,mall or somewhere that wont took so long..then i will wear my jeans again some other time.

I can wear them twice or sometimes three times if I have not yet washed my clothes and I want to put on a specific pair of jeans. Yes, I agree, the used ones sometimes Do feel softer and seem to fit better than the recently washed ones.

I always wash my jeans after one use. You sweat in your jeans, even when you aren't realizing it. I just feel dirty unless I wash them after one use. To me, its gross and I like my clothes to be clean, not smell like body.

i usually wear them (like you) two or three times before i throw them in the wash (unless they are dirty or sweaty) but i think it wastes water and laundry soap to wash them too much (that doesnt even include the wear and tear on the jeans!)

I usually wear jeans everyday, whether I'm inside or outside of the house. However, when it comes to the times of wearing them before I put it on my laundry basket it depends on how much I perspired that day and how many hours did I wear it. On the one hand, if it is a cold day and I wore it for just 1-3 hours I usually use it again on the second time. On the other hand, if I use the jeans for the whole day, whether it is cold or hot day, I normally place it in my laundry basket already, using it once.

After I wore my jeans. It was already sent to laundry because we have helpers in our house. Jeans are comfortable to wear. It is great to use for outdoor activities. It last longer than other pants. It has many styles and be used for recycling when talking about being creative.

In winter like now, I wear my jeans about two weeks then throw it in the washer. In summer about one week the topic due to too much sweat.

I wear my jeans twice before I throw them in the washer, unless they are really dirty from working in them, but as a usual rule, at least twice, but never two days in a row.

I have got a quite a reputation for wearing my jeans for the longest time here in college :)I prefer to wash it after I have worn it atleast 4 times. Since I stay in the college and do my own laundry I have come to realise that laundry is no easy business and washing jeans is simply not my cup of tea. So I decided to take the easy way out!! I wear it for the maximum and try my best not to get it dirty.. if at all it gets dirty I blame fate and put it on and just go ahead.. after its college!
