I have some experiences dealing with people who are known as "Professionals" and who claimed loudly as educated but their behaviors and attitudes are worst than those people who are uneducated. These educated idiots do not know how to understand, to consider and always want to be on top even at the expense of others. Politicians are sometimes the best example of these people, they are thought not to cheat but keep on cheating the public trust, confidence and money for personal satisfaction.

In my opinion, I don't educated people are more clever than uneducated people. To be educated, in particularly university education, means a lot of professional knowledge you have, knowledge isn't equal to clever, and sometimes these persons who are smart are good at learning.

There is a serious problem with the word "education" and the manner it is used (or misused). What is taught in schools as education is mere facts on some subjects; reading or writing some language(s), thats it. There is nothing that teaches good behavior and good values to the unfortunate kids (or would be "educated idiots"). The biggest misfortune of modern times is that industrial and technical advancements have made material acquisition the sole purpose of human existence. Human beings are slowly becoming lesser humans with extinction of ethical and moral understanding. All talks of human rights unfortunately applies only to those who are least human-like in behavior! Thanks for the thoughtful post.

I think there is nothing to complain, that's just the way how the world is running. If the things are managed by real intelligent people, the world would be too great. When things are going to be too great, it would be destroyed soon... So, just be happy and satisifed with what we are having now.

Your words are true that most of the educated people donot implement the true meaning of education.Even many illiterate people know how to give and take respect from others, how to co-operate and behave, on the other hand the educated fools always want to be the top levels by grabbing the money and happiness of others...

Being educated is one thing but more impoetant is how you use your education. Can you apply it to daily living and become a productive member of society I have known too many people who coulr give back facts and answers but could not use the information to solve simple problems. I use to be in education and had to hire teachers. I loved to hire people who had been in another career first and then decided to become a teacher. To me these were some of my best teachers.

You can't expect people to behave well only because they are educated. I have seen educated people throwing waste on roads and public places, which many non-educated people don't do. I have also noticed that uneducated people are good in maintaining good relationship with their life partners. Edcuation doesn't mean the behavior of a person should be good.

some educated people behave in some peculiar manner, but not all.Even I have seen some of the people who are educated but they behave in a different manner. That might be because of any personal matters they behave like that, but most of the educated people so called professionals they behave normally only.Coming to politics it is the only stream which does not need education. Many of the politicians are uneducated or they have acquired the certificates by committing malpractices they are very very mean, now the days are going in such a way that if you need money or if you want to become rich in a night then just enter into politics.

I have met such people before when I was working in the hotel industry. They were not politician, but most of them were educated with titles and still when it came to deal with other human beings, they were the worst! It was unbelievable when a man with his family and children could say to his son not to end up being a worker like us. I mean, for goodness sake, we were there to offer him comfort and being paid for the honest work we've done and even when we're in a managerial level, but yet he's making us look like we should find other jobs that according to his standard. If we were not there and if we were all doctors, pilots, lawyers or Professors, who would do the job for him? He wouldn't experience the services and had to do all that by himself, which I don't think he would appreciate it. He has given the worst lesson to his kids and I hope they won't end up being a snob like their dad. Well, I hope my response is not off-topic...

Politicians are not necessary highly educated people. They may have climbed up the ladder and be on top. However, they have not made much use of the influence they have. I agree with you on that.

Those persons that you mentioned are not educated but qualified may be. There is a world of a difference between education and qualifcations. A person who has not entered the portal of a school could yet be educated and education means all the qualities that you mentioned need to be there and more.

I get what you mean, and I despise those kind of people, too. I don't think that education and professionalism is something to be self-proclaimed, it is for others to see in you. Such attitude is really a shame, they must have lost their character somewhere while getting their way to the top. As a consequence, they do not earn respect from others.

I agree with you that the best example are those politicians. They are good for nothing fellas. They consider themselves as good leaders but they are not. They see the mistakes of others but not their own.

They maybe learned people but if they exhibit barbaric attitudes, they are no more better than the beasts in the jungle. It is important to have the right kind of attitudes and behavior to tally with the level of professionalism one is in. A person with the right attitude and the right education makes a great citizen. Politicians everywhere are the same. It is hard to find politicians who are not corrupted.
