Do You Often Curse?

I used to curse often particularly when I was younger, but I managed to tame myself now. In the Philippines, most people curse a lot. Curse words has become a norm in conversations. We curse when we're mad, in traffic, while watching a game, when gossiping, when we ate something hot... some people even curse when saying hi. Having different languages in the Philippines, more and more curse words are being added in our vocabulary. I guess its kinda okay to curse as an expression as long as you don't direct it to anybody. Do you often curse?

I just don't want to hear curses or swearing. It really pissed me off! I wonder how parents rear their children, why even little children know how to curse! Especially in our country, with the native tongue, it is really not good to the ears. I hope the teachers and the parents can help to eradicate or minimize cursing and swearing of the children. If I'm a lawmaker, I will propose a bill to punish the parents and teachers of children caught cursing or swearing!

Sometimes its not only the parents fault. Kids can learn it through movies, at school, with friends. My parents raised me good but they couldn't watch what I'm doing all the time.

I have funny "cursing" ... here's a few of mine:
"Farfenugen"
"Crikiees!"
"Jimminy Crickets"
and my most common one ... "Daygone!"
I get laughed at a lot.... but I try to keep my mouth clean.

Hey there,It depends on the situation though. I normally curse when I'm alone especially when I'm driving. Somehow, you seem like a different person when you're on the road. I curse depending on which group of friends I'm with. Other than that, I seldom curse in public.

Hmm, I just updated my facebook status with some cursing ...
But normally I don't curse a lot. It depends a bit on which language I talk and who I'm with. With my Finnish friends I curse quite a lot (in English), with my English friends I don't. In German I don't really curse at all. I know how to, it's just that none of my Austrian and German friends curse so it doesn't fit. In Norwegian, I curse every now and then. We tend to use religous curse words here, but further north in Norway they're a bit more original. It's actually quite funny to listen to them sometimes.

I am from the Philippines and yeah I curse a lot. I curse when I'm mad, when I'm stressed, and I also curse when I am HAPPY. I curse when I am speaking to myself in my head. I curse if I'm sick, I curse when I win something....hehehe. I really cannot remember when I did not use the curse words.

Hi Nocturn,
I am happy and proud to say that i never do that and no plans of doing it. if possible i try not to say negative things or bad mouth other people even though sometimes they're not treating me right. i don't want to be cursed to that's why i make it a point not to do it.

When something really does not go my way, I tend to curse. I try not to but it slips out. You should hear me working on computer programming sometimes. There is always one line of code that is not working and I tend to go through all seven words(and more) when trying to fix the problem.

Well yeah, I curse a lot and all the time. Currently I use more often a language with so little curse words so when I need to curse I use my native language. It helps me to release stress or anger, or to express myself.
Cursing is still kind of taboo in many places but I don't see anything wrong with it, what's more, I love it.

No, I seldom curse because I was taught since child that cursing is not good. And it wont do good to anybody. I'm from Philippines and I think most uneducated people/people who lives mostly in the street in my country curse a lot. Some people curse as a way of expression but dont really mean to hurt someone.

I dont do it for others to hear but when I am angry, irritated or upset with some situation I do curse as that seems to be the only outlet for me to give vent to my frustration.
