666 - Satan Calls

Since my post count is at 666 I was wondering where the origins came from. I thought that it was associated with Satan but upon reading about the topic, I discovered that it was to do with 2 Beasts described in the book of Revelations in the Old Testament of the Bible.
It goes like this:
the First Beast arises out of the sea, having seven heads and 10 horns. The Second (Lamb-like) Beast arises out of the earth, having the appearance of a lamb while speaking like a dragon. This Beast exercises authority on behalf of the first beast, causing the Earth-dwellers to make an image of the First Beast, and worship him. In Christian eschatology the Beast together with the Dragon (Satan) and the First Beast (the Antichrist) forms the unholy trinity.
Did you ever notice when you reached numbers like 666 or 1337?

Once, my myLot earnings reached exactly $13.37. But then the next day it changed, anyway.
I remember somewhere on Youtube there was a person's channel who had 666 channel views (or subscribers, I don't remember) and 123 subscribers or channel views. The number will definitely change, but it was funny to see those two numbers together.

I never really looked out for those numbers and I only ever noticed them when people point them out to me. This time I happened to be posting in a thread that mentioned 666 posts while I was near that number on mylot.
