I knew there had to be a positive side to my job and now you've shown me... We are not permitted to book annual leave over the Christmas/New Year fortnight so we dont get out of the work routine We work a rota system and I dont do full-time hours myself so I had 3 consecutive days off 26/27/28th. I have some single weeks annual leave booked over the next few months but I may take some extra shifts during those to boost my income a bit.
I hope you have some time off to look forward to being able to relax.

Yes this happens to me as well, its becomes really very tuff to get back to work after a long holiday. But you have to without any option. And thats the reason we look for break or holidays after working for long. This is the best way to keep yourself refresh. Just imagine if you don't have work and just on holidays then you will not be able to enjoy them, but when you work for long time then only you can enjoy the holidays. So it is part and parcel. Basically I am more lazy than you, as even after weekend I don't like to come back on Monday to work, but can't help it. I am sure you have enjoyed your holidays to fullest and must be definately planning for your next vacation.

Sometimes I feel like I have to get back to work to get some rest after a long break! It's funny how our routines actually help us have a schedule that keeps us rested.
