Do you hate the Police?

I do really hate them, and today I've found a reason to hate them more. They are responsible for the death of innocents and I also think they are totally retards and put disorder instead of putting order.

I do not hate the police. It might be you just have some bad ones in your jurisdiction. But, please do not let that reflect upon all police. Here in the USA I have met some nice ones, and not so nice ones. I'm sure there have been some innocent people killed here too. But there are many more positive things than negative things--thank God--that the police have done.

I understand and respect your opinion. I have been wronged to many times and seen such cruelty and such a big lack of humanity in police men that I cannot smell them nowadays. I am not criminal of anysorts. Policemen have done so much harm to me, while I did no harm to the society. While I was innocent, they treated my like the worst criminal without having any proof that I commited something wrong. There's criminals everywhere on the streets and policemen keeps on arresting innocent people.

Will be praying for where you live at. Sounds like hearts need to be touched by the Holy Spirit and police to do things fairly. Will keep the notice of your reply in my email for awhile to remind me to pray.

There are good ones and there are bad ones. But the good ones are usually the rookies that haven't succumbed to the peer pressure of their colleagues yet. I have been harassed by police officers for all kinds of reasons before. Race, age, gender, the company I keep, etc. Heck, my dad is a police officer. Of course, he is probably one of the worst examples. He use to have me and my brothers followed to find out what we were up to. He was also responsible for arresting me and giving me numerous tickets. He actually arrested me for assault on a police officer (himself). Luckily the judge threw it out on grounds that it was a domestic dispute. Now, I've also come across some good ones. There was one state trooper that pulled me over more times than I can remember. Always gave me a ticket, but was always nice and courteous. Then one time when he pulled me over we discovered, much to my surprise, that my license had been suspended. Instead of arresting me and towing my car, he simply let me go with a court date, let me call someone to pick up my car, and even gave me a ride the rest of the way to work. So, there's good and there's bad.

I can understand how you have felt when your license was suspended. I tend to believe that police men from all around the world have a tendency to abuse of their "authority".

I've never been wronged by the police officer, so I have no reason to hate them. Although, I'm not thinking too fondly when they pull me over for something, even though it's my fault anyway. They do make me parinoid, even when I'm not doing anything wrong. There's always something they could get you for. lol

I understand your point of view, and wish I could have the same, but the Police of my country are cowards, and recently they failed to save lives during a flood, they even failed to warm the public about the coming disaster. The only thing the can do flawlessly is giving fines to members of the public and fill the pockets of the greedy and capitalist government.

reploids I have no idea why you are saying this but maybe your police are different in F rance. I am here in the USA and in the state of Ca, and all the dealings i have had with our police have been pleasant. When years ago our car quit on us right in the right hand turn lane with a zillion honking impatient motorists backed up behind us, these two police officers risk life and limb to help push us into the nearby service station. When I fell and really injured myself a police officer was the first to call the paramedics. and stayed with me,keeping me calm until the paramedics arrived. I have had nothing but good happen when I was involved with the police. No they do not hire retards to join the police force. they pick men who are quite intelligent and physically fit too. sorry you have had such a bad time with police.

reploids just a word of advice, behave yourself and do not do wrong things then the police would have no reason to bother'you. you sound as if you have left something out like getting a ticket or being arrested for something, there is always two sides to a story and we have not heard the other side. usually people who say what you said have been guilty of something that got them sideways with the law. try not to speed or whatever you did to get the police involved and you will not have to hate them.

No, I dont hate them. I think there are good and bad people in any walk of life. I guess it varies from country to country and depends on your past relationship with them. To date, I have had no bad experience with the police. I see them as doing a difficult job and think that the general lack of respect people have for them nowadays has contributed to the lack of respect people have for the laws of the land also. Even when the police manage to apprehend and bring charges against a wrong doer, their efforts are often thwarted by a legal system in a society which has more support groups for criminals than for victims

I did not but when I saw them doing their duty then I became a fan of throwing them outside the map and place them in an Unidentified flying object, because they deserve this only, I have been riding with my boyfriend many times and there was always some policeman stopping us to give us a contravention or ask us unimportant questions, so I hate them for not doing their duty correctly.
