How many of u have a resolution in 2010 to lose weight? no matter how big or small this seems to be a common goal this year.
I want to lose about 30 pounds this year..hopefully before May.. That way i can go back to my Pre-baby weight.

I also want to lose weight this year umm.. about 10kilos.. I do that by just eating 3 times a day and a single snack. Eat small amounts in each of those, more water, exercise more and stuff!
Goodluck to us!

I am going to Jamaica for a friend's wedding in May - so my goal is to just eat healthy and work out consistently until then so I feel my best and look great in my fun summer clothes :)

well, every year that has become my goal. but its just so hard if not impossible to achieve. my body structure is really heavy and i have tried everything ffrom dieting to exercising and all but i always fail. again, for the purpose of the new year, i have included it again in my goals' list and this time, i really really hope at least i could shed off some weight. but if i ever did, i will just have eventually gain that on the later part of the year! ha ha! :)

yes, my new year's resolution is lose weight too. I want to lose at least 5kg. but it's not easy.
now I stay at home most of time then I always want to eat something when I feel bored.
it's embarrasing I love food too much. now I don't cook a lot,but my husband likes cooking and is good at cooking. every week we shop food and talk food a lot.
I also want to be happier.if i can lose weight I will be definitely happier.

Well I see from the responses you nor I are the only ones wanting to lose a few pounds this year. Maybe we should start a support group??? Sounds like a plan to me. I say every year 30 lbs I lose 20 with in a few months and then something happens the plateau...... Then I get upset and within 4-5 months the 20 lbs is back. I am gonna do it this year one way or another. I'm looking forward to an October wedding and I am going to look my best. So good luck to you and all WE CAN DO THIS !!!!

I don't have a goal to lose weight. My goal is to exercise and eat healthier. I don't really make New Years resolutions.

Hi chantalgiardina, As you rightly said I too too have a goal to loose weight and hopefully before April or May. It is 5 days already and I have not done anything much towards realising it lol....I would like to loose about 6-7 kilos . The other resolution I have made is to grow my hair , never to cut it this year....All the best to you

To lose weight for this year is not a part of my goal.Instead, I want to maintain my weight and make myself healthy.Losing weight is not easy but if you are determined especially with proper discipline then you can do it.Good-luck in achieving your goal.

I think this is the most common resolution. I want to lose weight to but I do not want to put pressure on myself and miss all the fun by being too obsessed about it. I think it is more helpful for me if I think of the health benefits of watching what I eat. A better goal is to eat healthy rather than lose weight.

*Raising my two hands*
I always want to lose some weight. Sometimes I managed to shed those extra weights, but the hardest part is to maintain it. So, I guess it's only wise to be able to spend more time on exercising to keep fit and this is one of my goals for the New Year.
Other than that, I hope I will be able to be more frugal and save more money and no more procrastination. I think I won't be listing out the rest as I will do it one at a time or add it to the list if I find it's necessary.

Hi, I do not have any resolutions, I don't make any every year. I don't know why, maybe because I know myself so much that I wont be able to fulfill my resolutions. =) however, I would also like to lose some weight.. I'm hoping to burn my love handles this month. =) I'm also hoping that you would fulfill your resolution.. =)

I definitely want to lose weight this year. I've definitely let my soda drinking get out of control. I haven't watched it too well. That's one of my resolutions this year - less soda, more exercising...or any exercising at all. lol

My entire 2009 was devoted to bringing down my weight. I am satisfied with the results and 2010 will be the year to eat what I want but keep to that regime of going light in the night which is what helped me reduce my weight in the first place.
