Have you ever helped someone join mylot?

I helped a friend join mylot. On here her name is Ice Palace. It's a really cool name that she chose. I've been helping her get to know some of the features of Mylot. I hope she enjoys Mylot as much as I do. A few of you may have met her already because she has answered and started a few discussions. So have you ever helped anyone join? Did you refer the person to Mylot or did you help the person after she or he joined?

No I haven't gotten anyone on mylot. But I have had people tell me about mylot that is how I got on it. I like mylot and the different things people talk about. I have never heard of her but I like her name. Its nice to help people out and getting them on sites.

I think mylot is like what is your "lot" if life. It's an expression. I could be wrong, but I think it is. Maybe someday you'll help someone join, maybe not. No one knows what the future holds. Thanks.

I always look for people to join. Mylot is a nice site and friendly people. There is always a lot to learn in the postings. I like to see what other have to say and what they answer when I post something. Its always nice to make good friends every where you go even on different site. You can never have enough friends.

Wow, you're only at 13 and you have friends on here? I'm impressed. It took me thousands of responses and years to get someone to join. Value those friends. Thanks and take care.

Hello Writer, I have gotten 3 people to join mylot and all 3 are inactive. I also had been inactive for a few years but have decided to come back. I think that it takes a special person to continue being an active mylotian. You need a certain amount of time to be able to be here, to find discussions that you can contribute too. Not everyone has the time and the other complaint was the money. All knew up front this was not a get rich site. I did tell them that you could earn $25 to $35 a month with effort, none stuck around long enough to see. So it seems that most peoples referrals just loose interest very quickly and it appears in most cases it's about to much time needed for to little money. I hope that your friend enjoys mylot enough to stick around. :)

Yes, it's hard, I've been here for years and just got one person to start coming on regularly. Don't give up. Maybe another friend or even this one someday when not so busy.

I am pretty new to My Lot. My friend got me to join it. She hasn't been a member much longer than me. I like it and look forward to getting e-mails about my friends and comments and such. She also told me of the rules and stuff. When I had a problem with my profile she fixed it for me. You would think she had been a member for a long time, but she was on a lot more than me. Now she has a job outside the house and she doesn't get on as much. If I knew of anyone interested in this type of thing I would have no problem in referring them.

Yes, I'm on more when I don't have work and less when I do.I think part of how much a person knows is how much they check around the site. The more exploring, the more you get to know. Thanks and take care.

I this Mylot is really good stuff so i have recommend it to many my friends. And their responce is also interseting, some classmates really want to study english, and i'm sure they will finally sign in Mylot; At the same time, some friends care about the pay, when they hear the pay, they share the curiousness and show much interests, and i'm sure they will finally sign in here too. Though some friends come here with different aim, but Mylot is a really good forum to make friends!

Yes, I'm really amazed at how some people start out with very little English and get way better over time. Many people don't mind helping out as long as we can get the idea of what someone is saying. Thanks and take care.

Yes, you do need a lot of time. I go through periods of time when I have a lot of time and periods of time when I don't. I think a sponsoring person has to find different ways to keep the interest up and motivating a person until that person has a lot of their own friends, interests and so on. Thanks and take care.

I tried referring mylot to my friend who said she was tight on cash but when I said that you can make up to 2 dollars a day if you're really dedicated to posting, she laughed and said it was too little. I think mylot is a great deal but I guess its not for everyone. I think your friend's username is very cool too

Yeah, I'm hoping she does a discussion about her name and soon. It's almost Ice Palace time. Although there may not be one this year and that is sad. Yes, if you're trying to pay a bill or make a living, it's not much, but if you just need a little extra, it is good or something is better than nothing, too.

It's amazing how many people who start out in Mylot with limited English and then become much better at it. One person here said that the translator feature that some people have is a big help. Thanks and take care.

Sure I have, that's kind of the whole point isn't it. Anyone who's spent more than a few days on here will have a chance to try it out, and if usually like it. Its always a good thing to show the new people the benefits of Mylot, and how they can make use of them to enhance their experience. I have been on for two weeks, and even my first couple of days, more experienced members responded to my discussions and were very helpful with showing me around and keeping me motivated. Not all discussion forums have nearly the helpful community this does, and if your going to refer someone, you definitely should help them get started and make sure they have a good experience. It will help you, and everyone else in the long run.

If you see #4, you see what some of us are up against, so when we get one, we need to celebrate.
