My friend told me that there was a law that is going to be passed in the spring that says no restaurants can have smoking in them. No bars can have smoking in them unless they get a special permit to say that they are a "cigar bar". Has anyone else heard about this? What do you think of this?

I guess it depends what state you live in. I know a lot of states have this law in place ( alot of others don't. I would suggest if you don't like it,that you start contacting your state legislators and tell them you don't support the law and would like them to vote against it.

we already have it here in the uk,you also can't smoke in vehicles you use for work, even if you own the vehicle i.e;taxi driver, even if they're off duty they can't smoke in the car,or they get fined if they're caught,,this law does'nt affect me coz i don't go to pubs anymore, and my partner does'nt drive taxis anymore either so it does'nt affect him
