2009 best movie

I'm going to have to say The Blind Side. I have never been so inspired by a movie. Sandra Bullock definitely had the performance of her career with that one. I could watch it again and again without being bored. There needs to be more stories like these in our everyday lives to remind us that one small act of kindness can lead to something greater.

I will have to agree that Taken was pretty good. I also really enjoyed Dance Flick, and ABSOLUTELY loved Paranormal Activity!!!

hello prettyoptimistic! i can't really say what's the best movie of 2009 for i haven't seen much movies for this year..but with TAKEN, i must agree with you that its really one of the best if not the best! i love the story and everything about it...even my husband likes it. it just shows the love of parents to their children...wow! its just so nice!

I just finished watching "New Moon", i think this is a great movie, it's so romatic, it would be so cool that i can a boyfriend like that or know people from that group. I think there will be a NEW MOON II, i hope there will be in 2010 or 2011!

I loved 2012 ,the whole film is the most impressive in Los Angeles to disapper.the whole city is like Titanic,as the firt break and then tilt and finally sank into the Pacific Ocean. so impressed the Chinese audience. the monstrous floods across Tibet'S snow-capped moutains , submerged the world'S highest temple.

For me, the best movie(s) of 2009 were Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, X-men Origins, and Terminator Salvation. These movies were the best of action movies out in 2009. Transformers was great, the graphic effects were awesome and the storyline had me glued to the movie screen the entire time.

My favorite movie for 2009 is 'The Hangover'. Making comical scenes in such a serious situation is very tough and the director has done a very commendable job on the movie.

The movie I liked best, by far, was The Reader. It´s an 2008 production but I saw it in the theather some weeks ago. The story is moving and very real, showing how complex human beings are and how difficult it is to cross the barries we all set around us. The actors were superb. Kate Winslet, the leading actress got a well merited Oscar for this film.

I say Avatar and Ingluorius Basterds. I really like Avatar so much because it really captivates me with its visual effects and technology that enhance the story. it's a new cinema experience. Ingluorius Basterds keep me hooked in my seat for more than two hours because its quirkiness, fast dialogue/conversation and lots of intense moments from the biginning of the movie.

I LOVED The Invention of Lying. Or 2012, even though it scares me a little bit. :(
