Do you notice that Usher sings a song every time he breaks up with his lady?

I have noticed this big time. And it makes me mad. Every time Usher breaks up with a woman that he is dating or married to, he makes a song out of his break up. When he was in a relationship with Chili, from the musical group, TLC. He made the song that was called, "Burn". Now, he was married to an older woman that he had two kids with and he made the song called, "Ready to sign them papers". Apparently, he is referring to his divorce with the woman that he is married to. They are in the process of getting a divorce. I just think that it is very embarrassing for a woman that he was in love with to have to hear him making an public sound about their previous relationship. He does not need to exploit his personal business out there for others to see. I had respect for Usher, but after him doing this, I am feeling like I don't think he is the man that he should be. He should have more respect for himself and the woman that he has been in love with. How do you feel about this? Please share your opinion if you are only familiar with my discussion. And if not, feel free to share your feedback anyway on how you feel about an R&B musical artist that is shaming the women that he so claims that he loves.

Haha ya you are indeed correct. It seems like relationships aren't his strong point at the moment. It must be something wrong with his commitment to one woman or something. It seems like he always regrets breaking up with her because he does create an apology song. All I know is that I am very excited to hear his new album Raymond vs. Raymond coming out this year!!!

Hi, throwbacks. I can see that you understand fully where I am coming from. I have always liked Usher, but not when he pulls his women down that he once wanted. He makes females look bad when he says all these things in his songs about the woman that he was in love with.

Cream97, in many cases, a breakup is due to some issue big or small that forms a wedge. One may do a lot of good deeds when still maintaining a relationship, but when that relationship sours, the parties concerned may try to put each other down. I remember having done a few good deeds but when a petty issue crops up, whatever good done, is ignored, until the wounds heal but the scars will still remain. This is the world dear. Cheers

Hi, shobhan51. You are right. After a sour break up it can leave deep wounds but one must always try to find a positive way of releasing their sadness. Making a song to diss a lover, is plain rude in my opinion. It is okay to sing about a heart break but not to put someone down... I feel that this is unacceptable. And disrespectful.... And it is also a way of letting people into ones personal business. It is bad enough that the media is trying to instigate what happened. Rumors are surfacing and lies are being told. The last thing that Usher needs is more drama. And this drama will not be coming from his lover but from the media itself. I have the utmost compassion for Usher. I understand that he is resorting to singing so that his wounds can be healed. But, just to sing and be angry is another thing. This is the world, shobhan51.

I believe it is entitled "Papers" only. :D
Anyway, Taylor Swift does that, too. :D She writes songs about the guys she dated and the breakups she had as well. I think it's pretty normal because they're composers/singers so they write their hearts out. I'm sure it's not just Usher who does that. But I do get your point, though. It's like ranting put into music.

Hi, mjcookie. I believe that it is Papers only. I was just trying to get the title right.. My bad.. I know that it is just not Usher that pours his heart out into his music it is other singers as well. But, I am focusing on Usher in this discussion, not others.
