hi there people, everyone drives and it's important to know and to follow the safety rules to travenl and drive in safety. i've never fall asleep while driving, i do a lot of chilometers in hte night during the week, also late night, so it's important to concentrate on the road and not on my desire to sleep. And whato about you? have you ever fall asleep while driving? or maybe near to fall asleep? Thank you for your responses :)

I have come close, that is why I make sure the radio is on loud and I sing along. I also keep the car toward the cold side. But mostly I don't drive long distances without a break, every hour if at all possible.

No, but I did fall asleep while riding with a young man who fell asleep while he was driving. It was long ago when couples used to go out together on what we called "double dates" meaning two couples went somewhere together. We left right after work one evening andwent to a state's fair in a neighboring state and so it was about 4 in the morning when we all got sleepy on the drive back home. Fortunately nobody was hurt. I got home at 6 am and we all had to be back to work at 7 am.

i will never do that, for i will put the life of my child and my wife in jeopardy. that is very dangerous. like you said it is important to concentrate or focus on the road. lucky my wife does not enjoy sleeping inside a vehicle so she is always awake and talking with me while i am driving. there is no boring moment so i dont feel sleepy.

first of all, driving while you are very sleepy is unsafe! when i feel sleepy, i just go to nearest convenience store to buy highly caffeinated drinks! or go sleep first in the nearest motel. well, this is what i do.
