I just turned 16, and my parents can't afford to buy me a car. I have applied for jobs, so until I get one, what are ways I can make money? I already babysit. I was thinking of selling hand made products-any ideas on this? What could I sell that people would buy and don't look too hand made?

Even in the cold dogs need to be walked, or while a family is at school or work, maybe you could offer to walk a neighbors dog once or twice a day for a few dollars a week? Or offer to dog sit for those who are going away, if they don't want you in their home, then if you can, offer to take them to your home... Ask gas stations, grocery stores, and libraries to put your specialites on a board, such as "can shovel driveways, willing to wash windows, dog sit, baby sit, and water plants" etc stuff like that.
Of course, also mylotting a bit can help as well. Since your sixteen i assume your still in school, you could ask the guidance counselor if they know of any programs that you could get involved with that say pay a bit of money to work...
