I recently bought a three dollar crossword puzzle scratch card. I was scratching and my boyfriend asked if i won. All the sudden I realized I had won twenty dollars. i looked closer and realized I had one forty dollars. I was sooooo excited until I realized I forgot to scratch a couple of letters. I then realized I had actually won a hundred dollars! I was jumping with joy. I seem to be buying a lot more tickets now. Has anyone won anything big from the lottery? If so was it a pick ticket or a scratch and how much did you pay for it?

I haven't played the lottery tickets in a while, although I do play once in a while. I'm thinking the most I've ever won was like $50. That was quite a while ago. I've love to get a ticket, spend like $2 or $3, and win $500. Now that's a nice profit.

I think the most I've ever one is $2 or $3. I try not to buy lottery tickets very often. I had a friend in school whose parents bought lottery tickets regularly and never one anything big. I figured it didn't make sense because if you added up how much you spent on your non winning tickets, it probably would add up to more than you won on that one ticket. I would rather put my money towards something better.

This is true. But I had an ex whose father one a million on a five dollar ticket. He also told me that if you spend enough on the lottery, you can claim it on your tax return. I was not sure if this was true, so I looked it up on the IRS website and it seems you can, although I am not sure how much you have to spend.

Lottery in other words meaning is luck in much committed sense. Luck doesnot always remain same it changes quite drastically and constantly. it depends upon god no individual can change it. Its good that u have won it but dont go for heavier prize lotteries which in return would provide losses to u as such its good if u got money think it as a gift of god for u might have done good deeds sometime. In case of mine it was twice i won lotteries but not some big one. Buy them sometimes only your good deeds will help you.

The excitement one derives when one wins even a paltry sum of money in a lottery is inexplicable. Ha ha ha

Hi skibabe1814, it's nice to hear that you've actually won a lottery. As for me, i don't seem to have the sort of luck that you have. I've bought some few lotteries in my lifetime, but i never win, i don't know whats wrong, but i'll keep trying, who knows, someday lady luck may favor me. Thank you.

The biggest I won in a lottery was $70. I was so excited that I kept my ticket after I cashed it in. I think it is still in my wallet. A symbol of luck. But after that I have not won any significant amount. I think the next I won aside from the $1 prizes is $4, just enough to buy me another ticket. Although the lottery company consider you a winner if you hit $1, you're actually losing money.

I have never bought any lottery tickets before. I'm afraid of losing my hard earned money to some lottery company. Some people are addicted to buying lottery tickets until they realise that they had gone broke.
