do you know the relationship between tiger and cat?

tiger is the king of animals in china while the cat is mostly peted by human. do they have some relations? as the legend says the cat is the tiger's teacher in old times. (as we know the tiger and cat can do many same actions) at the beginning , the tiger was very weak and bullied by the other animals while the cat was stronger. so the tiger went tofind the cat and asked the cat teach him how to fight . the cat agreed. finally the cat taught all the fight skills except climbing trees to the tiger .and the tiger was stronger and bigger than the cat, he didn't want to listen tothe cat and quarrelled with the cat sometimes. and at last the tiger was angry and wanted to bite the cat the cat run quickly up to the tree. then he said luckly i didn't teach you how to climb. that's a funny story, many people in china believe that. how about you?do you think is there some relationship between tiger and cat?

All I know about tiger and cat is that they belong in one family. Both belong to cat family. That was a nice story and it was my first time to hear it. The cat is really smart not to teach the tiger climbing skills or else the cat became the tiger's meal.

i'd like to hear that kind of stories come down from the old times. i'd like to believe that for they are reasonable and believable. the cat is really smart !

Ohh what an amazing story. It only shows that smaller creatures can do big and good deeds too when wanted and more wiser than those big looking just like human beings sometimes. But a cat and a tiger belongs to the same family of cats.

yes the cat and tiger belong to the same family, so their behavior are samilar, and so comes the story. people in the old times have magic imagination. they are so great that they creat many interesting stories.
