I am from "old generation" in mylot?

Don't worry my friend I am part of the old generation here. Many of the pioneers are no longer here as they might have found greener pastures. But many have returned but with new names in new accounts. It is good that we are still around here joining hands with the newbies to give our undivided support to mylot.

Hi icesmile, Gee, you only became a myLot member 9 months ago. That is hardly "old"! Anyway to answer your question, people come and go... so if you feel that 50% of your friends are no longer here, well go get more. There are always new ones joining and myLot is still pretty active in discussions and responses. Cheers and a happy 2010 to you.

Hi Icesmile, Well, I have been here for a really long time. I guess you could consider me to be from the older generation here. Yes, I do know what you mean. Many have moved on. Some of them just seem to take long breaks. I don't delete them unless they haven't been here for a really really long time. So many times an older mylotter will seem to disappear and then suddenly, I'll run into them on a discussion or I will find that they just needed a break from the place. Lets just hope they miss us and find their way back here.

Hi, Ice! I'm older than you. Every time I think I'm going to become as active as I used to be again, I get sick or absurdly busy. I've heard, though, that a lot of people have become fed up with some of the new people, the ridiculous tasks, and just boredom. I do keep returning, and I'm glad to find you here again, each time!

Hello senior! I'm very new here, have just joined several days ago, I don't have a lot of discussions as you can see. It's not that I don't have anything to say, I'm just unfamiliar with this place and prefer reading than posting something. I read your post and I'm very surprised that people can actually make friend here. Wow, you're off about 4 years and now there's someone who still remember you, that is so sweet.

Hmmm, I think I am from an old generation too, since the last time I was active was way back 2008. I just decided that it might be a good idea to revisit Mylot. Anyway, this is my first post here after a long sojourn, so thanks for making me want to reply! LOL

i started here more than 2years ago but i was never that active. most of the time i just read and post some. there were lot of times where ill just read but wont post at all. then ill be off for 6mos or more then log in for some few minutes and log out again.

Hey icesmile! That's the sad part of being at mylot! People here do come and go and sometimes without any notice! I have been here for over a year and a half and have seen many of my friends come and go without even a goodbye and it is very upsetting! There are times people do have to leave here and come back under a different name, but that is a different story~ But, I have met some very wonderful people here who have left without any reason and never looked back! That really does bother me, but there is nothing I can do about it but miss them!

hi icesmile, you not too senior to me,i have also lost so many friends in mylot,they are not attending mylot regularly,but you have to make good relation ships with new friends,so that you can exchange the views with mylot and you may not feel that you are old,i am also old but i never felt like you,have a nice day

Well I have actually noticed the same thing and I think it is normal. I am sad however that you don't think that the new people on mylot are nice. I am fairly new and I would like to think of myself as a nice person. Maybe you just need to give people another chance to prove that they are not all bad. I know that there are a lot of people here who might disagree with a point of view on a topic, but that doesn't have to mean that they are not nice. It just means that like we are all different, the way that we see things are different too. I hope that you make some nice new friends here on mylot and you can always count on my smiling face being on here. I love mylot and I have no plans to stop coming here. Happy mylotting.

Hey Icesmile! I am here. I am not sure if i am in your friend list, but i did see your discussion once in a while. You are doing a good job! When my post in around 600, i saw yours like 300 something, now, your post number is about 1800, that's a good program, i am trying to make mine reach 1000 today. I haven't been here for a while because lots of stuff going on in the real life, so i have no time to come here. I think that might explain why some of your friends no longer coming here.

hi icesmile, i do not know whether i am old generation in mylot or not, i have come here half a year. but lately i seldom come here, one reason is that i am no interested here anymore, i did not earn $10 on mylot, one more reason is that i am busy with my work, have no time to deal with here. if i have not been here for several days, i would forget mylot,lol. i am not busy today, so i come here, and your discussion was caught into my eyes.

hello, the old generation, nice to know you! maybe some of your old friens are busy now or not interested on mylot, so they leave. that's very common i can't stay in one place forever. i am a new here, i don't know how long i'll stay here. i'll try to be an ols generation like you ! haha

Hi there Ice! I am on your list but I am not sure whether I am old or not. Who was here first, you or me? Several of my friends from the beginning when I joined are no longer posting either now but I have made many new ones. I guess that many move on to other sites or have other things happen in their offline lives that makes them stay away. Not to worry asd there are still many more joining every day so we will never be completely alone here

Well ice I have only been here for like 10 months so I can't really say much for the "old generation" but I do know that even within the short time that I have been a member here there are quite a few people that are on my friends list that haven't been around in a few months..I can't really say with certainty that any of my friends have come back with new nicknames because none have said any thing to me but it still could be....
