Good roomies and bad roomies!

I have had some of the best and worst roomies ever! For two years I lived with two guys who were very respectful, responsible, kind, clean and smart. Then one of them got married and the other joined the navy. So, I moved in with two guys after that and one of them thought he was going to be a rockstar so he only worked like once a week so he could party and practice with his band. Then to make matters even worse the second roomie was discharged from the coastguard before we moved in together so every single job that would hire him he would end up blowing off because he felt the job was "beneath him". I guess he would much rather let me slave away working two jobs paying all his bills. It was terrible. I remember once a lonley roomie of mine actually passed out in my bed drunk at like 3 am which made me wake up all freaked out ofcoarse. But, nothing tops the day I came home and found a girl I used to live with eating chinese take out on a tv dinner table with her dog running around pooping and peeing everywhere on the carpet. I remember I stood their, knowing she knew I had just walked in the apartment and when she didn't pull her eyes from the tv I counted 13 spoiled spots on the carpet inbetween her and the tv! Omg! wtf! I remember being so disgusted by her it was unreal. Then she freaked out on me because she was humiliated when I said something about cleaning it up. So, after she stole 300 dollars worth of my clothes and then moved out of state to marry my x, I was finally rid of her. lol Anyways, my point is I have had terrible roommate experiences so I am very grateful for my current roomie. We have known eachother since we were small children and have become close to eachothers families so we are compfortable being around eachother. Don't get me wrong, it's not like a disney sitcome or anything. It just works because we are friends that care about eachother and she and I are not afraid to tell the other person when we are upset. We dont' have any passive agressive issues when dealing with eachother since we have known eachother so long. Also, she is very clean, honest and responsible. So, it works!
