Need tattoo ideas.....

I am of German ancestry, and I would like to incorporate German writing in my tattoo. I want a short phrase or quote in German, and I have a few questions.
1. Any ideas of a good quote on: Life, Being Happy, & Living Your Dream.
2. Anyone hear who knows or speaks German, and can CORRECTLY translate?
I tried 3 online translators all at the same time with the same sentence, and all were different.

You could try "Heil Hitler" (sorry, that was crass and rude of me), after all our Royal Family are German. I don't know of any quotes you could use as I am unfamiliar with the German language. Googling the expressions may be a start. Sorry I can't help you further.

I've worked in Germany and speak some,but wouldn't know anywhere near enough German Literature or Poetry,or even song Lyrics(!)to advise someone on their tattoo..It should be something that's personal or meaningful to YOU that will go there..There's nothing your Family could advise You on,an Author or Singer you Like? What about the part of Germany your Family comes from,are there any famous writers from there you could quote? viel glueck !
