I don't know how my mom and sister do it. They both can chat on the phone over hours. For me, I just couldn't do it. First consideration is that I don't have unlimited plan on my cellphone, and I won't dare to waste my minutes on those trivial chitchats. Second of all, I couldn't come up that much topics to talk about. Finally, it might hurt my ear if I put the phone on my ear over hours.
Both my mom and sister have unlimited plan, and they can talk all they want. I am sure that they make their money worthwhile. Do you like to talk over the phone for hours?

I have same problem with you! I never can chat on the phone over hours. I just can about 20-30 minutes. First, I don't really like chat on the phone, I prefer to SMS, because it is cheap. Second, It's not healthy put your phone on your ear for a long time. And the last, of course... I don't have much money to chat on the phone over hours!

I felt the same. Maybe I am not the type of person who used to be talkative. Except for serious matters, like business idea and plans. I can chat over hours because it is related to my future. If for something trivial, forget it. I am not interest in wasting my precious time.

if it's free why not? lol
i always used the internet call when calling home. it's cheaper and audibly better than using a cell phone. i used to spend hours believing that it is cheaper and my calls are being worthy by means..
spending hours on the phone could be fun but it depends from the situations....

I really don't talk that much on or off the phone. I have to be with a person who really has a lot to say and makes me feel comfortable talking before I'll even talk at all.

I don't like to talk over the phone for hours, but i do have this experience.Last year, when i get a call from my best friend, we talk over for about 1 hours. We haven't met for 2 years and she will get marry, we were both excited and talked and talked...
You are right, long time talk over the phone is not good for our ear and also brain, we all know the cellphone has the radiation,so i avoid to talk long.

Not always, but many a times I chat for hours over phone with my mom and my friends. With my mom, when I discuss a problem or something new, the chat goes for an hour or so. With my friends, when we go into our old days of fun and enjoyment, we do chit chat for hours. And you know, its real fun and refreshing as well.

I don't know about talking on the phone for hours on end. That seems excessive. I think the most I spoke on the phone was a half-hour with my auntie. I usually don't have much to talk about until I see people in person.

Personally, I have never really been a great fan of talking over the phone. if I have to have a conversation with somebody, I will try to make it short and to the point. Any important conversation, unless really, really urgent, can wait until the next time we meet in person.

As far as I am concerned, I think I have the ability to to chat on phone over hours , but I seldom do that way which I think is a little harm to our body healthy. So I may just chat on the phone for a little seconds which not only can I talk on the phone with my friends, butalso build a healthy body.Happy mylot.

A few minutes is about all I can handle. Most of my chatting is done through the Internet. Its normally for school related purposes and I tend to get a bit restless if I'm on the phone for more than ten minutes. Never did like to talk on the phone. I always cringe when I hear the phone and I'm the only one around to answer it.

I am not very interested in talking via the phone. Because I can contact others by SMS, email or MSN. I think it somewhat wastes the time and money to chat via the phone for a long time. If I have to chat via the phone, usually I will finish it shortly. If I am very upset, then it will be different. I can also talk for a long time. Perhaps it is a way to release the pressure.

I am not one of those people that can chat with their friends or family for hours. I would get tired of just holding onto the phone for that long and I don't really have all that much to talk about. I guess because I am a guy. The female members of my family can talk for a longer time.

I'm like you. I don't think that I should waste my money in a conversation that might last hours. I only use the phone for short conversations, like "are you free? Then let's meet" or so, and that doesn't take more than 4 minutes.
I prefer talking in person, it's nicer seeing the face of the other person.

Yes I can. The longest conversation that I have was around 4 hours. But of course, I didn't talk over my mobile phone. I was using my home phone and I was engaged in a conversation with a friend discussing and watching an award ceremony telecast. But of course, we had a lot of gaps in between, for our ears to rest, and also when the winners were being announced. Occasionally, I can talk to my friend for like an hour or two chit chatting about recent events and some girl's talk stuffs, so yeah, I have no problems with finding topics to talk for hours. Maybe you can try to talk to your friend about some interesting events that occurs to you or share your interest with them? Cheers
