Any advice on selling art?

Hi, I would like some advice on selling artwork. What I'm planning to do is upload my artwork to a site that does print on demand, that way I won't actually have to take time to create the prints myself. I am wondering if anyone has any advice on which site would be best to use? I am not expecting to make a ton of money doing this (although that would be nice)...but I would like to be able to generate some extra income. I know there are some sites that let you do this type of thing for free but are they really worth messing with? Or should I use a site that you have to pay for an account? Also, what kind of artwork do you think would sell these days? What kind of subject matter are people looking for? Advice from anyone is welcome but I'd especially love to hear from those of you that have experience with this sort of thing.

You would probably be better off having your own website. If you are selling prints of original art such as paintings there are several ways to go about doing it. Of course what matters most is that you have a following and people are already buying your art offline.
