Hi san! Happy New Year to you as well. We are sorry to hear about your accident and subsequent operation. I think the medical world has advanced and they are now able to join a broken bone with the help of very fine screw (other than the normal, we get to see). When you become alright, may be, if the Doctor feel apporpirate, he may remove the screw or else it may become a permanent part of your leg. We wish you speedy recovery. Cheer up! Deepak
